  5. Where do you get them little ice trays i dont see the tiny ones around much. Ok here is another who needs a dose machine when you can use paper cups. I have 3 of them i poked holes in them set timer for when they are empty i poke a hole in the top for a zip tie and couple pine holes in the bottom for the drip. One is little over 3 hours over 2 hours and about 1 hour for the other. Work perfect been using them for month now
  6. BTW I had a friend use a dose system and it went haywire and dosed his tank 30 oz when it was supposed to do 1 killed it all so what i do and works perfect i have a paper cup on a zip tie over the sump and i poked 2 tiny pine holes when you dose you want it to be slow. I timed it and it takes 3 and half hours for my cup to empy nice drips. I have 3 cups i made and timed one is at 2 hours and another 1 hour thats to fast for me though. Just a thought for you.

  16. Ya I'm new to it I never had to worry about it ever because I didn't keep corals like I do now. So this is working perfect for me right now. BTW if you go to jet.com they have 13lbs of baking soda for 9.99 each best price around and I just got 2 bags plus your 1st order you can get discount if you spend certain amount which I did got me few things .
  17. I don't think that is it. These things are hard shells onto the rocks and puts out slim in my tank up to 8 inch long. I wiped it out yesterday because I thought it was just some weird thing floating in there until I looked close today. I seen something come out of this thing. these long things get out there collect food then it sucks into the hole.
  18. These rock nem are cool changing colors Here are couple of the ones i posted last same ones This looks like a volcano and other big fat mushroom
  19. Ya that is so odd I have never had this happen. But there are things out there reading the article I read that they still don't know. They say there are over 100,000 types of snails. Nice read about them. Hope I got the 3 that was there. pretty easy to spot when they get that long slim out there.
  20. I did some reading on them and there is Scientific proof now that these can cause problems with corals. They don't let the corals grow like they should the studies showed so there a goner
  21. I thought I had 2 then I seen slim coming from the other side so I covered a 3rd ill keep my eye out for more slim.
  22. Gosh :( I just tore out 5 big chunks to get to this sucker.. Stuck it all in seen another slimy thing coming out of a rock so pulled it back out covered that whole. I put poxy on 2 holes and just glued the other because I wasn't going to break all that out of there again. I will keep a eye out for any more of these things that pop up. I was reading that some crabs keep them in check
  23. well good thing is you can control the speed
