  1. Gotcha - thank you. Bit too far for me, but good luck with the sale!
  2. I'd be interested in the bubble and the mushroom - where are you located?
  3. Caught another one climbing over some zoas. Easiest catch yet. Got three left for sale.
  4. Haha. I was inspired by all the other posts and wanted to try to get some off because they’re taking over my tank. I started with one and now there’s easily 25-30. I don’t know why these split so much but it’s exponential once it’s starts. For the most part they bubble up and seem happy. I’ve only had one that decided to rest on top of some zoas. A week of blasting it with a power head solved that issue.
  5. I was practicing my anemone removing skills and got three of these guys off my rocks. They're in a jar under pretty white light, but are more pink than what they're showing. The other photo is of the master colony under the blues of my DT. That whole rock becomes a bubble garden as soon as the moon lights come on. Probably 20ish on there... I'm in NE portland - thinking $25/each. I got three of 'em...
  6. I have about 25 of various sizes all throughout the tank. If I can get one off I'll hit you up. It started as one about 18 months ago. They wont stop splitting.
  7. If you're just running normal plugs do you have to ground it? I just run an extension chord into the fish room and plug in a power strip.
  8. here's a question for y'all - I got a little tailgate generator that only pumps out about 800w. It's enough to run a heater and a return pump, but I'm thinking about upgrading to one of the larger units. Do those have to be grounded or can you just wheel 'em out and fire it up? I remember reading on one a while back that it needed to be grounded, and I have no clue how to do that.
  9. They definitely make a difference. I have a large one on my tank and I was dealing with endless dinos that just wouldn't go away. I finally just turned the UV off about three weeks ago and the dinos are gone (knock on wood). I'm guessing other things are growing more now and sucking up the nutrients, but I have a huge clean up crew so hopefully it'll be a nice balance. So that proved to me UV's are good at what they do - but I was dealing with Amphidinium dinos and the UV apparently doesn't really work as well with them.
  10. I hope this community can fight our garbage tendencies and just give them the amount they're asking for.
  11. I wish I could get 70% off this post. I’ve been here over six years and I’ve never once had an issue with anybody buying or selling. Maybe it’s just bad luck that OP met so many bad apples, but I’ve never met one. Now, I also deal with a lot of folks around the country for baseball cards, and I can verify THAT community is pretty lackluster!!
  12. Awesome. I’m going to give it a shot!
  13. Hey all - open to offers here. I'm not 100% on the price so if someone needs a big UV let me know!
  14. I'll probably regret this when the dinos come back, but for now they're gone and I need to move some equipment. So first up - an AquaUV 57watt plus VarioS2 pump. Bulb needs to be replaced, and that will run you about $65. I just pulled it offline and it needs to be cleaned - but it comes with all of the connections to plumb it. $425 for the total package. OBO I also have a few reactors I'll be throwing on later once I get some photos.
  15. I got this a while back but have decided to not install it. $15 pickup in NE Portland.
  16. Hey all - thank you. Items are sold.
  17. Recent threads on these juniors reminded me that I have one sitting in a box. I'm really not sure on prices for this stuff so feel free to tell me if it's off. Apex Junior W/Temp Probe - No Display - $75: Had it for last 5+ years and just took it down a few months ago. EB4 - $75 PM1 No Probe - $50 Let me know.
  18. If you end up still looking then lmk. I’ve also got one with a pm1. Just hanging out.
  19. I've got a used EHEIM 2262 that I no longer need. It comes with all media and quick disconnects etc. I've also got a bag of spare parts like O-Rings, clamps, etc. The only issue is a crack in the back of the pump housing, but that's just cosmetic. $175 takes it. Happy Holidays.
  20. I broke down my last not-drilled tank and I won't be going back. So...for sale is an EHEIM 2262. This is the big daddy of EHEIMS. I had to running on my 180g stocked with frontosa. I have the tubing, disconnects, lid, media, everything. There is a small crack on the back of the pump housing - but no water flows there so never a problem. It was plumbed onto a 180 so if you want to go higher you'll need a few feet of tubing. $200
