  1. icepik- BMX trick minus the "c" because it was always taken with it. biker- I use to BMX bike all the time and everywhere. Then I got a car, got lazy and got fat. but kept the screen name for everything. lol
  2. I have mine on its own rock at least 3" away from any other rock. Its easy enough to cut the growth off the sand, but I have had mine drop babies before and now I have a small colony growing on my GSP colony rock. PS if you ever want some Xenia or GSP I usually have a frag or two laying around in my sump/ frag rack.
  3. I'll trade you some sps frags for small piece. I had a colony back in my newbie days.
  4. Always on a none payday weekend. lol. maybe next weekend if we have any money left after our anniversary get away.

    ATO

I like my JBJ ATO. Only "issue" I have is that the redundant shutoff is only set for like 3 mins of run time before it shuts off the pump. I've seen that I can open up the unit and extend the run time but haven't done this yet. So if my top off bucket runs out and I don't refill it for a while, I have to sit there and lift the float valve every 3-5 mins to get the pump to turn back on until I'm back to normal run level.
  6. I have a 6 bulb fixture, it's not an ATI fixture but all the bulbs are ATI bulbs. Most are pretty new.
  7. I found a snail in my pump once when investigating why it was being loud.

  9. D-river is pretty well picked. Headed to fogarty creek
  10. I actually just did a LFS run yesterday. I went to C&C, Upscales and TPA. #1 on my list is TPA mainly because they are the closet to me and the guys there are super awesome, helpful and good stuff there. Downside would have to be they don't get a whole lot of SPS. #2 would be Upscales, because of the size and amount of "dry" goods and equipment. Only thing I found not a plus for me was that every tank had Pulsing Xenia covering everything, at least that's how it was when I went in. #3 and only last on my list because of size and location was C&C. Their selection of SPS was amazing! Everything else looked really nice also. Size was a problem for me, I went there with my wife and two kids, there was only a couple other people in there and I felt cramped. It also took me 1/2 hour to find a parking spot not too far away. The local area also seemed fun for 21+ and no kids. Don't get me wrong with the negatives either, I would definitely go back to any of these shops again if in the area. We have a couple other shops here in the Salem/Keizer area Aquatic Day Care ~ If they are there, they're helpful but more on the freshwater side. The Coral Reef ~ Under new ownership, also just moved to a MUCH larger store. Keizer's Tropical Fish & Aquariums ~ Nice guys, good size shop, good selection. Just very hot in there.
  11. Just a little update! First split I've seen of my Candy Cane. Wife got herself a new Mandarin. New rainbow BTA Shot of the new scrap wood hood and cheep Chinese LEDs. First fight in the tank. Got to love black Friday's at BRS.
  12. look into the American DJ power bar. I'm ordering two on Friday.
  13. So what is the difference between the Jr. and the lite? I thought the Jr. could only support like 5 modules, why is that?
  14. Is there something going on today?
  15. Can a Jr later be upgraded to a lite or full?
  16. Prob not really "local" but TPA in Salem has some.
  17. If you have decent lights I have some easy care SPS. Also have GSP and devil's hand leather.
  18. Can you start with the Jr and later make it a lite or normal Apex?
  19. The Reef Keeper is a little cheaper, not real sure of how much it can do tho.
  20. Salt mainly but maybe the mag pump, food stuffs and a few others. Just depends on what my allowance is. Lol.
