  1. I would say move them down just before they pick up sand, maybe halfway, and point up.
  2. I live in stayton. The power line was down actually not even a half block away from my house, it was out from about 10am till right when I got home at about 3:30pm.
  3. Just got home and was getting my 400W power inverter set up on my car and the power came on. Lol.
  4. Mines out also and I'm at work so all I can do is watch on my web cam.
  5. My local Ace sells a few gate valves. Lowe's and home depot sell them also tho.
  6. Ya but at least I get what I want, usually I make up for it with buying her something also. Lol.
  7. Like the guys at my LFS say it's best to get what you want and ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission and not get anything. Lol.
  8. If everything is secure then should be good, looks good to me.
  9. I'll see if I can get a hold of him that's awesome.
  10. I like the price if those as starter set but I was looking to not have to dim or adjust then manually every day. The OR T247 have built in timers and auto dim correct?
  11. Are your rocks glued together or just stacked?
  12. I've heard a lot of people saying they are loud until they get broke in.
  13. Mine are hosted by GSP and pulsing xenia.
  14. They also look very expensive right now. I'll wait till they drop about $100 before getting one. lol
  15. So lately I've been throwing around the idea of swapping out my lighting for something new. When I started in the hobby I was using a cheap knock off MH/VHO fixture, it died in a power outage. After several tries with other MH setups and VHO setups I found a good deal on Amazon for a non-dimmable 6 bulb T-5 with 8 double led moon lights. I bought it and the lights that came with it were 3 low power 12000k and 3 really low power actinics, so after a couple months I've changed out all of the tubes to better bulbs. Currently this is on my 72gal bow front, about 5.5" off the water surface, but will be ordering a 150 (48x24x30) or 180 (72x24x24) by the end of February. My plans for the new tank will be SPS mid to top and LPS/softies on the bottom. Front to back 48" fixture: Channel one: 07:00-19:00 ATI Blue Plus ATI Coral Plus ATI Actinic Channel two: 09:00-17:00 ATI Coral Plus ATI Blue Plus ATI Coral Plus Channel Three: 04:00-20:00 8x2 blue LEDs So After all that, my question is should I keep this T-5 set up or should I spend the money to get some LEDs? If I do switch I am planning on starting with a cheaper set and working my way up to some nicer more expensive ones like Ecotech Radions or Orphek Atlanliks. I was thinking of starting with 2 OR T247 for the 150 or 3 OR T247 for the 180. Will the 54 watt T-5s penetrate the 30+ inches of the 150 or would it be long enough for the 72 inches of the 180, I know there will be shading in the upper sides? Are the options on the OR T247s worth switching for and whats their average lifespan? What are the mounting options for the OR T247s? Are there any other things I should consider about switching to LEDs?
  16. Pics? I'm bad with names, usually just by what looks good. Lol

  18. Think it would do well on my 100 gal TWV system, house stays around 60-70℉ during winter time.
  19. So how's it going, not looking like I'm gonna make it.
  20. Can you post an updated list please.
  21. I hear ya. So as they are I can just plug them into the wall set them with their controllers and use them like that right? I don't need the Reef Angel?
