  1. So true, I am so there! Still no skin on my stand You have been so patient on this build JR, your login name does not match your skills or experience. Saltwater Sensei is what I am thinking. Really looks super, way to go!
  2. Wow thanks fellas, this is awesome! Think of the expenses this will help cover for Brandon's family, and you get some nice coral! They do look like JF Askrack, it will be nice to see the comparison. They do have lineage back further than the JF, but I think allot of coral gets renamed when lineage is lost. No fault of JF. When 23andMe can be used to genetic test coral, all the naming excitement should die down. 150 TO MRBRET!!!
  3. Just so others are not confused, do we have you down Mr Bret for 100? They are worth it, hot hot hot! Gotta get fired up for the good cause!!
  4. Auction runs until Friday at 9 pm, sorry for the confusion. The deal was that I would hold it if she wins and do whatever she wants with it.
  5. That's a deal[emoji106][emoji106]
  6. Awesome thank you!! I am sure that will be a help to his family.
  7. THERE ARE MANY GREAT ITEMS AVAILABLE PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK OUT ALL THE ITEMS UP FOR AUCTION HERE: http://www.pnwmas.org/forum/106-brandon-m-kennedy-thumper-auction/ For Charity Auction - 2PP Krakatoas Cousin - Red Spackles!! Up for auction are these amazing and rarely available palys called Red Spackles. These are true beauties and have much of the same look as the Krakatoa, but are far hardier. Mother Colony Pic: 2pp Frag For Sale Pic: Many have been inquiring about frags, it is exciting to finally offer them up for a good cause. 100% of the proceeds go to Brandon Kennedy's family. Read more about the cause here: http://www.pnwmas.org/topic/33572-brandon-kennedy-thumper-auction/ Auction will still start at $30 and ends next Friday at 9:00 PM Please bid generously, it is for a good cause! GOOD LUCK AND THANK YOU FOR BIDDING!! Shipping / Pickup I am willing and capable to ship (buyer pays shipping). Alternatively local Portland/Vancouver pickup. History and Lineage These date back to 2008 from Tomasz when he had Paradise Corals in early 2009. Then they were called Red Spackled Palys. Others claim these are the same as JF A** Cracks and Omega Mauls. I cannot say for sure, and can only claim lineage back to Red Spackles.
  8. Make me one of the tecos for me! Lost the colony these came from.
  9. Huh, that is cool. Mine is not branching, just a big blob. Thanks for sharing.

    Torch coral

Love love love Torch corals! Low medium flow is good but it is surprising how much flow they can handle. You can feed them about any food, some will eat, which is fun but not necessary. They are stony coral of course so the big 3 (calc/alk/mag) are important to them.
  11. Couple of good guys there! Nice scores, how doe the acans look? Well you did already qualify that i am just excited
  12. PM inbox is full! I am interested in Rainbow monti Pokerstar Ponape BN Zoa question Shoot me a pm when clear.
  13. Gotta be at least 40 frags! Some really good stuff, and some good bread and butter stuff. Should be allot of fun. Just think, you get to feel even better about buying coral for a good cause!
  14. Hahaha, just a wee bit. So far he is working on roughly egg sized rocks that I use for growing out my favorite favias, ugh! A little glue on his mouth... I mean the rock should do the job.
  15. Your tank has always been so nice, you will overcome this! I did have a coral beauty that was killing lps, that occasional nip can add up. Given that all other parameters are good, Seachem reef plus can be a miracle worker sometimes when nothing else helps. No, you cannot test for what it is dosing, so the blanket internet advice is to not dose it. Those who know better would say 'try it, you will like it'. Lastly, if you are getting the brown jelly, especially on that scoly, it is a good idea to start dipping it before it spreads and wipes it out. That jelly once it starts can kill the whole piece. I have heard stories of experienced people recovering from brown jelly but it takes some work apparently. These are just my opinions, do some research before trying anything, it is possible I am nutty! Best of luck to you, that can be super frustrating.
  16. That is a mind blowing list of z and p loveliness! All hail King Sasquatch!
  17. It would have been fun for sure, but I have all ideas and no time like all of us I suppose Look forward to your updates as you try it out!
  18. Wow, apparently triggers can pick up relatively large pieces of live rock, swim them to the top of the tank and drop them on other coral And once they get it on their mind, they cannot stop thinking about it.
  19. If you build it, they will come... Field of zoas...
  20. Frag tank is allot bigger than the last time I was down there! Looks like allot of fun, but I won't be able to make this one.

    Best of Acropora

Did you guys see reefnjunkie's list in his thread? It is a great id / wish list thread too: http://www.pnwmas.org/topic/25324-reefnjunkies-400-gallon-inwall/page-8
  22. Great, makes sense! This will be easy to participate in. Made a bunch of racks last night with my daughter, we finally have room to make a few frags and have somewhere to put them!
  23. I am hoping to see some cost reductions as legitimate controllers come on the scene that can compete. I can no longer imagine life without it, vacations are allot easier with the APEX keeping a watchful eye on things.
