  1. For ATO: Don't waste your time with a programmable dosing pump setup. Head on down to cuttlefish again. Get him to order you the right ATO setup. Hydor, autotopoff.com both sell great ATO's. I'm sure people have spares laying around as well that they may be willing to sell. Throw a post up in the classified WTB section. For dosing: I've heard good preliminary reports on this dosing setup. http://www.fish-street.com/jebao_auto_dosing_pump_dp-4 I wouldn't waste my time on an ebay/auction just because it's slightly cheaper. Pay the extra and get reliable shipping/.
  2. I do indeed live up here. So.... I just went to pull them out and couldn't find them. Then I realized that a couple months back I gave them to another member. Grrr!!! I feel like a jerk. What I do have left is a Koralia 1 (400gph). It doesn't put out the flow of a MJ1200 in circ mode, but it's definitely quieter. I also have exactly three koralia nano's I can give you. All of these pumps together would still be less loud than a mj 1200 powerhead, more reliable and less risky. They also will give you better coverage of flow to scatter them around. There will just be more cords. Let me know if that's cool and I'll put these aside with your name on them. --Micah
  3. The best way to fix this is to get rid of them. They are great utility pumps, but only if you don't mind noise and I wouldn't consider them a full-duty pump. I use them for water changes and the such. Granted, I have one running a media reactor, but... only until I get my new manifold plumbed. If you are using this for flow inside your tank, I have a couple of koralia's in a box that I'd gladly trade for a mag 1200 or even just give to you. Would that solve your problem?
  4. 100% completely feel you on this one.
  5. No.... *I* am beer. Great party! Had a wonderful time. Good to see you all again.
  6. Good! I'll shut the heck up and let it go to whoever. I can handle my own aips. I'm in no hurry and you shouldn't be either. I'm patient. I'd rather see it go to a new member anyways before me.
  7. Ooh!! Let me know when you're done with him. My wife's tank has a couple [language filter] dirty aips popping up and she could use some help. How long is this little fella? I would love to give him a nice temporary home. Thank you VERY much for your PNWMAS loyalty and honesty. So much information has disappeared and it's nice to see the rebuild process in action!
  8. It's about f'ing time. How are those RW-15's rockin it?
  9. well, THAT's good if they fail off. If they fail on, prepare yourself for fish and coral stew.
  10. A single 400 watt heater is overkill for a 93gallon aquarium.... Let alone two! .
  11. Very glad to hear that everybody was relatively safe. Broken arm sucks, but as kim said, this could have ended much much worse.
  12. Sounds like you need a smaller heater. Go get yourself two 150w Jagers.
  13. Oh man. that blows. Been there. Good luck with the sale! Perfect sump for somebody with a 40B!
  14. Yeah! Lol. make sure it's an actual drain.. not just emptying into your wall/crawl space.
  15. Have you called Marineland to see what they think? I know jadams7 says they sucked on the phone, but perhaps you'll have a more descriptive answer? Record the call. Or, even better.. Get them to email you a "it'll be fine" email. Save said email.
  16. If you can maintain those numbers, you'd be pretty well off. Your alk and mag could go a little higher like Randy said, but I'd say go with what you have for now. Here's a good link for reef parameters. http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2004-05/rhf/
  17. In that picture there appears to be an end-cap that's painted over. Very possible that is a drain of some sort.
  18. I'm running this on my 75. http://www.coralvue.com/regal-170sss-protein-skimmer
  19. Dang it, I had to cancel this. Something came up. Grr, a BBQ sounds so good!
  20. Dude, not right before I go to bed....
