I had this same problem this summer and I debated bombing... it's so not an option to do easily. I did it 10 years ago and even with the tank entirely covered (impossible to entirely cover), I lost stuff and had to do a buttload of water changes. Wasn't awesome.

I am really excited to see how these work. All reviews so far rave about it. First person who gets one is on the hook for a true to live PNWMAS member tank video. As soon as they have controller integration, I'll be adding-to-cart.

Wrasses sleep pretty sound in the sandbed. I've scooped them out with little fuss. They look at you like "Hey man... I was sleepin' here..". Would be easy to kill one.... Never trust a crab.

You get what you pay for with harbor freight. Consider yourself warned. Also, those numbers look pretty low for what you are considering running. I highly doubt it will run a single 100w heater reliably. Good luck! I'd love you to prove me wrong! A word of advice for people trying to save a buck here and there..... Stop buying frags for a couple months, use that money for something that doesn't suck.

We have two options. One is that new participants give a division of the total amount to each existing buy-in member. The second one is that we create a second group of people to buy a second loaner apex module. the problem, obviously is that we then have to create some larger rules about who keeps it, what the time limit is... etc.. I'll have this one back in the pool in no time here shortly, but.. if somebody has an issue in the meantime, what happens? A second apex seems more doable? Super cheap insurance - even at a quarter the price, it's only a single payment.

You'll have to ask Jeramy. That's where I got the tank originally. Now Higher Thinking has it. Honestly though, the clear front really grew on me. My OCD wouldn't let me NOT know everything was working fine. On my current tank, I have the front off of it most of the time. Ask my wife, she probably HATES it.

I'm looking up a way to disable smilies within tapatalk. There's also a curse word filter in tapatalk that I can add the smileys to that will strip them out. This will have to wait a little while. The main problem is that these same emoticons don't exist within tapatalk. Before, the old forum would just omit them if they weren't tapatalk supported ones. The tapatalk support on this version of forum software is not quite as mature. I'm sure it will get better with time.

Yeah, I'm not sure on that one... .I'll leave it the way it is and poke around with it tomorrow.

If it was me, I would approach this one of two ways... I would either move everything over with new water and buy a melanarus wrasse, coris wrasse, or some other flatworm eater... let it go nuts.. OR.. I would start over. Start fresh.. Whatever rocks you do reuse, I would soak in a bucket of fresh water with a smidge of bayer in it. Kill all of those little bastards. Then start cycling the tank after you've rinse the crap out of those rocks in fresh un-poisoned water. Once you have it all set up, dip your corals real good and transfer everything over.

I still have this button - try logging out of the forum on tapatalk and back in. I was able to do this just now. Unfortunately I don't have any control over features that tapatalk offers you or does not offer you. Whatever this version of vBulletin tells Tapatalk to support is what it supports. Nothing more, nothing less. I wish I had more control over it, but I don't. Sorry! Let me know if you don't get that feature back. There's also a "Clear cache" feature in tapatalk settings that has resolved a lot of issues for me in the past. Give that a shot. --Micah

I cannot seem to replicate this.

It updates in intervals to reduce server load. The last sites wasn't realtime either. I did find an issue where our server was incredibly loaded last night and was able to do some serious performance tuning. Things should be snappier as well as the search blocks should be updating quicker.

Exactly. I think people have enough to digest right now, so I'm going to stop changing things.

It looks like once you empty from the trash (delete permanently), it removes it. So, it looks like when you delete from sent, it simply flags for deletion. Once in trash, deleting it from the trash permanently deletes it. That's a little annoying, I won't lie. I'll see if I can streamline that.

To see who's viewing a thread, I'm not actually sure if that's going to be possible... or easy. It's already on my list above, and I'll get to it as soon as I can. I'm crossing my fingers on that one. Not sure what happened to the signatures.. worked in the test site. Adding it to the list
