what kind of fishes do you have planned?obviously reef safe but are you going to house any crazy tangs,angels, or other larger fishes or are you going to keep the fish small?are there any pics of your 90 gallon tank?

hey toad fish if you happen to swing through corvallis some time i can hook you up with however many heads you need.i have few types to choose from as well.i do trades if you have some goodies or i can take your monetary notes.

i know corvallis is not the closest to you but if for some reason you come through this way i have a number of macros i can part with for free in addition to the chaetomorpha.i also love to trade and have a plethera of frags to go through,there is bound to be somehting you like.did i mention i also love talking the hobby. just throwing that out there

once its all dialed in you may not have to dose as much.but it may be daily dosing for a while.

i know i have to dose a lot for one of my 40 breeders.between 3 of my tanks i go through over a gallon of the 2 part BRS every mont and i wouldnt say i have a heavy stoney coral dominated tank.just sayin its not unusual to have to use alot of the 2 part if you have growing corals.

straight ballin...now thats a way to dose for the big boy tanks.

i f i didnt have a copper system to put the rock in i would try a formalin/formaldehyde treatment or a small dose of bleach to treat the rock then resoak prior ro use for peace of mind.theoreticaly the parasite should already be gone.i am with noob as i have lost a couple systems do to such diseases. safe than sorry. just my two cents.

not to stray from this threads initial subject but i am having a rather similar problem but was wondering what it meant if for some reason power to the area effected suddenly comes back on for a brief period of time then shuts itself off? thinking this could be a hazard while i slept i turned the breaker off.it was never tripped mind you.later the power comes on for a few seconds then off again.i check the breaker and it is still in the off position.i know nothing in the electrition department but i do know that this is not right.possibly dangerous as wouldnt this mean there might be some arcing or piggy backing power somehow from another line?also in the beggining of this thread reef junky stated that the breaker never tripped from the sudden blow out so to speak.that is not normal correct? Thank you in advance.

the lists would be long but say 40 differnt corals are up for trade or what not if you ever come through down town corvallis.now or later as i am going nowhere...fast.

i love to trade and i have many corals to choose from.if you can make it to corvallis i can hook you up.

i have acid and kalk that i would part with if you are this way anytime soon.i would also recomend the kalk...just like you were getting rid of some aptaisa.

that would be sweet.i have alot of coral to trade if you had any frags you might want to get rid of as well. but yeah just keep me in mind.

its a long shot but if you ever come through corvallis i would certainly take it off your hands and throw a frag or two your way.

if the light deal falls through i would love to see about getting the halide and lights...i can use the pieces

i like my kessel.and i like the SOL.i supose it depends on your tank.lack of a controler is a bummer thought as i just had to raise the kessel to stop some bleacing out instead of dim but other than that good stuff.
