  1. Today was a blast !! I have been up since 1:30 am  so I apologize if I miss some people !

Thanks to  Cuttle Fish and Corals for funding  the food, getting all the raffle items , and opening up your store and all the great deals.

Thanks @Eatfrenchfries for being in charge of the group buys and just all the general help. Thanks to Jeff’s crew including Pete and Albert who were always offering to help. The place was jam packed and everyone was working hard. It was of course raining but people came out in droves anyway !!  Thanks for everyone who came out to support the club and Tanks for Teachers !!

My wife and I attended today and greatly appreciate all the hard work and expense that went into the setup, food, donations for the raffles, low priced frags, mystery boxes, cleanup, etc.   Great job to all of you!  Really wonderful event.

I'd also enjoy a smaller weekend "brunch" type of get together with a focus of chatting about equipment, the trials and tribulations of setting up new tanks, etc.

    Thank you again,

    Webbed

This is usually our biggest meeting of the year. Most of our in person meetings when we do them at homes is much more intimate. Glad you enjoyed. It was a labor of love 😊. I have been up since 1:30 this morning getting ready and it never fails the rain always usually shows up but as true residents of the Pacific Northwest we don’t let a little rain spoil our party !

Really should put better descriptions on these buys from now on. Really disappointed to only get one zoa head. Not worth the time and effort.

Sorry you were disappointed. It can be difficult to gauge with fragging how many heads will be available. I’m sure if you talk to Cuttlefish he will make it right. Hopefully you were able to at least enjoy some of the delicious food and drinks and get in on the other corals.

I will take your feedback in mind for the future when we do these group buys and try to be more specific because they truly are not meant to be profitable and meant to bring joy .

On a side note since I did not get in on this zoa group buy as I wanted to leave it open for others , I would be happy to buy your frag from you if you are Interested in selling it .

  5. Thanks to Jeff at Cuttle Fish and Corals for getting all the great raffle items and some that are brand new to the hobby. I’m intrigued by this new salt brought to you by the same company that makes Instant Ocean and Reef Crystals. They are adding amino acids and food to help support the beneficial bacteria.  We will be raffling off one bucket at the meeting Sunday. I personally don’t recommend switching salts if your tank is doing well but right now I have a fish only tank and would be a great time to try it out.

Reef Builders did a write up here :
