So as I slowly get more corals, I was wondering how do you figure out which types of corals can exist near each other without killing each other??? I have quite a few rocks with mushrooms on them, so does that mean I'm going to have to remove them if I ever want to plant some SPS, LPS, or softies near them? I thought I remember reading of an incident where some mushrooms killed a small RBTA so it's a little confusing to me about how to place things

I can only hope you don't take my opinion and hold it against me. That's just how I feel and I know everybody has their own opinion and will stick by it. I know losing a job is difficult, heck I went though 2 in the last year and each time it was nerve wrecking. But weighed against the possibility that you have widespread famine due to droughts and other extremes......I just don't believe in damaging my children's future and leaving them with such a legacy. I really hope you don't think I'm being an a** for stating my opinion and just take it as a differing point of view that can be reasonable and logically debated about. That's always the problems with such sensitive questions. You have some that will just blow up against people that state differing opinions and some that are willing to talk about it in a calm and reasonable manner. I can only hope your the latter

Could you post a picture of the white/yellow cotton ball stuff on the bases. I'm really curios to see if it's the same stuff on my Paly's that I got. My Paly's have stayed close or only partially open around the time the stuff started to appear. I would really appreciate it if you could snap some of pictures of it and post it. If anybody knows how to cure it, I would love to hear what the cure is. I've tried a coral dip on it once and that seemed to help a little but not a full cure

It seems like all sorts of little things are failing on me lately(flame). First it was the tubing nut on the RO pressure pump and now I need to look for those plastic hose clamps. Over the last day, the hose has come off the barb attached to the pump and since the pump is in the sump and comes in contact with the water, I need it to be a plastic hose clamp even thought I personally detest them since they are a pain the a** to get on in my opinion. Does anybody know where you can get some that would fit onto a 1" hose????

I don't believe Calvin got it from Ocean. He told me he got it from Reefcorals.com I'm not sure if Perry has anymore. The piece is a "walling?" type coral and doesn't have heads on it. Would you be willing to sell a frag if it's the correct one???

I bought a used pressure pump form Joel and I found that the pressure plug/nut that holds the tubing is failing and causing the water to shoot the tubing out. This is the same type of nut\plug as you see on a lot of RO/DI units that holds and slips onto the tubing and prevents the tubing from going back out. The nut is threaded so it can be attached to the other end. I've tried Home Depot and couldn't find any there. Anybody know of where I could find a replacement piece?
