I've tried using the Gumbo that Patrick at Saltwater Fantaseas makes but it seems that the stuff is too fine for the fish to eat. I'm wondering if you've had the same problem? The clown don't really seem to care for it and don't really see the Tangs or Wrasse either.
As for the Garlic oil(is that the extract?), Oyster Feast, Nori, and Marine flakes, what proportions do you put it in?
Would anybody be willing to share their super secret (laugh) coral and fish food? I've been thinking about trying to make my own to have more on hand and modifying it to my needs. I would appreciate any recipes that people would be willing to share.
Thanks
Does anybody in the area(Portland, Vancouver, Corvallis, Albany) have any frags of the above? Really looking for small frags of both to build out my budding collection of SPS

LMK
Thanks
I think after talking a look at the vividaquariums.com site recommended by Jason, I think I'm going to switch the group buy to there instead. Just wanted to find out if there is any additional interest besides Jason and Calvin?
Just try touching them with a finger. Mine usually closes up whenever something hard and not alive bumps into him. Once he curls up into a ball, it should be easy to pick him up
As I understand it, sea apples when under stress or about to die will release a venomous poison into the water column that can kill fish as well as corals. Sounds like it released just enough to kill the SPS but not enough to kill fish or the more hardy LPS
So I've been looking at getting a golden torch pictures here:
http://www.uniquecorals.com/uccollection10/uccollection10lps/golden-torch-coral-frags
but the shipping is more than the frag! I was wondering if anybody else might be interested in getting some other pieces from the site and split the shipping??? I think I have one other member that might want to get one head as well but it doesn't need to be the same type of coral of course.
If we get an order over $250, they only charge the box fee of $10 which is a great deal I think. They some other cool stuff there as well so go take a look:D
Thinking about ordering it here in the next month or sooner if there is enough demand
If you want to see an huge anemone, you have got to go visit Tim at Westside. Can't remember the type it is but it's at least a foot across but probably slightly bigger!
Nope, not yet. Been meaning to come visit and see your tank but there something always seems to come up. If you need some people to vouch for me, I can give you some names of people here like Kilmca, Undtkr_00, bill, dj_gianatti, etic
Ok, I think I finally was able to understand what these are and I feel like a real idiot nowDOH!. For some reason, the word "mushroom" wasn't connecting with the picture. Of course, I've seen mushrooms before(nutty) but those are some pretty trippy looking mushroom. I guess they must of done a real close up of it to get that kind of loook(laugh)
Has anybody seen or has a mushroom?

I thought this was a pretty wicked looking softie and was curious if anybody knows anywhere local that has one? Never seen one advertised anywhere before. Is this a type of anemone?
I guess I don't understand the above statement. Are you saying you contacted the people that expressed interest earlier? Maybe it's just been a long day and my head is mush.
I'm still interested. So how does this usually work? How do we divvy them up?
I would like to get the two part dosing but unless you can think of a way to get it up here.....know anybody going to be coming up anytime soon? That $27 in shipping was a dealbreaker for me originally
