1. Need some clarification on the rules. Is the one gallon volume to include the tubing volume as well? what about the volume of water in the pump, or any other equipment? If I make a one gallon tank, with some freeboard (not quite full), then I will have some water volume for tubing, etc.Why don't we make it one gallon of water, total. Or, maybe better yet, "stop being so anal"
2. OK, after cogitating this for awhile, I am in! One gallon coldwater tank, here I come! Kevin
3. Interested in the bulb and the blue cespit you mentioned the other day. You ever get down to pdx?
4. Thanks for the great deals on corals and critters Garrett. Those yellow Ric's look amazing!
5. Glad to help out Franklin...Thanks again for breakfast! Kevin
6. I can give you a hand Franklin, and we can use my truck. Early sat or sun is best for me
7. Anybody have some to sell/trade?
8. As many of you know, I drive all over creation every weekend. This includes driving through prime Indian fishing areas like The Dalles and Cascade Locks. I have been buying Salmon from them, as the fish come up river, for several years now. This time of year, is the best wild Salmon that you can get (Spring Chinook...Ok, the sockeye is pretty good too...). Anyway I am going to get a couple this Friday, and thought I would offer to hook up some fellow reefers, if anyone is interested. A couple of weeks ago, I paid $5/pound, whole fish (guts in). Sometimes they will gut them, and charge $6/pound. Yes, this is the same fish that Market of Choice recently had for sale at $26.99/pound for fillets. You can figure about 60-70% of the fish's weight, guts in, will = fillets. If anyone is intersted, I am willing to make one stop in the Portland area to drop off fish. Other stops, possible depending. Cash only, weighed fish, I don't intend to make any thing off the sale, just want to hook some folks up. LMK
9. Not sure if its the exact same thing, I'm not really an acro guy, but it looks really close. Trade ya a frag for your amino acid stuff
10. Nice to see we are raising some money for a good cause, Thanks Kim! These are some of the nicest zoas out there, and these are still a bargain! http://cultivatedreef.com/sunny-delight-paly-palythoa-sp-p-234.html http://www.aquaticlifedirect.com/product.php?id_product=331 http://www.vividaquariums.com/10Expand.asp?ProductCode=05-5934-10&Category=Coral And Invertebrates:Polyps&SortBy=Price Nothing like a little blatant hype(laugh)(laugh)
11. I have a Heliopora as well, but I don't think it is anything particularly rare. I'm sure you have the very rare species, Kris(rock2) Is there a pacific variety and a carribean variety?
12. I could cut some Bam Bams to trade for a frag of the POG's. LMK

15. Heres a different perspective on Petco. I work in southeast WA, in the Tri cities area, and go back home to Eugene on the weekends. The tri cities has a population about the same as Eugene/Springfield, or Salem, but does not even have a LFS that carries salt. There are only two Petcos here, thats it. When the petcos get their orders in, they get swamped with people buying stuff still in the bags, since no one wants anything after it has been in their tanks. Hard to imagine an area this size without a LFS.
16. I'll play. Seems like we might need some ground rules though, like if your acan dies, maybe you don't get any of the others since you don't have one to share? I dunno.
17. (laugh)(laugh) How about you use the 7.5 gallon tank as a quarantine for the pest tank.................(laugh)(laugh)
