  1. I'll donate a couple of Aquariscopes for raffling or auctioning too. Jay, let me kow what you want to do about yours. Kevin
  2. I'll give you a call tomorrow. Thx for the signature idea!
  3. Thanks Curtis, watch for the website, coming soon! BTW, I think it's time we talk about getting that bottlebrush back to you. It's not looking good.
  4. Hi Jasmine, Yes, I am selling them. I'll send you a PM. Kevin
  5. Thanks guys, I'm glad you are having fun with them. Eventually, if this takes off, I will have some real money to put into the product, and the materials of construction can be...upgraded:D
  6. It was really big fun. Thanks to Joel, Miles, and Curtis (Rey too) for all of the efforts. And thanks to evryone that bought an Aquariscope too. I hope you enjoy them. I think I might be on to something here...
  7. Very cool Miles. Maybe you could add a sound track to the clip...how about Rod Stewarts "tonights the night"?(laugh)
  8. Why, it does indeed look like the same piece, lol. Too funny. Although, I thought it looked pretty nice in the store when I saw it. Wouldn't ya know it, I geuss I don't have much of a clue what acros go for.
  9. So I was down at Liquid Sunshine the other day, and noticed an acro that they have there, and am wondering if anyone might be interested in fragging this at the upcoming brouhaha: Here it is under actinics: Eric says he'll take $150 for it, and it looks like we could get about 8 frags of various sizes from it. Any interest? And Franklin, just so I don't get associated with depriving your daughter, make me a trade offer for a scope, and I'll promise not to tell her.
  10. I got it at Jerry's pretty cheap, from what I remember. By the way, those that want to make rock may want to wear plastic gloves, due to the caustic nature of portland cement.
  11. Thanks for the nice report, fishie. I'm glad you and the kids are enjoying it.
  12. Those were taken with my canon 30D, and standard 18-55 zoom lens. But, just for comparison, here is a shot of the blue bottlebrush SPS (thanks again curtis!) taken with a nikon 3200coolpix, a point and shoot that is about 5-6 yrs old: It's a little washed out in this pic, but I probably need to mess with the white balance or something. Anyway, bring your camera if you're interested, and we can play with it at the big hoedown. I still have a nearly full bag of portland cement that I can donate to the cause, and it sounds like Joel has a lot of sand, so DIY rock here we come. I have heard that one way to cure it is to place it in the tank portion of your toilet, where it will get a water change every time someone flushes. (laugh) (nutty)
  13. Flamehawk and ORA blue bottlebrush through my Aquariscope
  14. Thanks fishie! #1 are Mango's. Similar to Green bay packers, but more orange. #2 look like Horizons.
  15. This is going to be fun! So, was that a yes or no for me to bring the big bag 'O portland cement? I have only made DIY frag plugs, using portland cement and crushed coral...maybe there are other ingredients that are used? I will also bring some "Aquariscopes" for people to check out. Tidal, I would donate a couple to the school if you think they would be beneficial.
  16. I have a huge bag of portland cement if anyone wants to use that. Free for anyone that wants some.
  17. Anybody have a starter culture near Eugene?
  18. I am in CA right now, and will be driving back on Sunday. I can pick up the stuff and bring it. I could meet you at the gas station that is right off the freeway by the old Bring recycling... Jenny, Sorry you have to take down your tank...that must suck. If you still have the fire shrimp, I'd be interested in that too.
  19. INterested in your hippy zoas. I'll be passing thru GP on Sunday. are you near the freeway?
  20. Look for them to be cleaning a nesting spot, actually biting the rock or glass, even rolling over so they are belly up (not permanently, lol). They will do this for a couple days before spawning.
  21. Looking good Curtis. They do seem to make the colors pop. I'll have to come over and see it in person.
  22. Here's mine, I think it seems to be doing OK.
