  1. Ok, I was still 180% over my inbox after clearing a ton of messages, fixed now. I'll PM you.
  2. Cleared inbox. Likely parting out soon. First thing to go will be corals and the man made rock.
  3. Attempting to do an orderly sale of this tank teardown. As such for now, the entire tank and livestock is for sale in 2 possible configurations. Everything for $4,750k, or all the corals and livestock for $1.5k or the dry goods for $4k. I'm going to let this post sit for a few days and let people consider. Here is a link to all the equipment and livestock. The tank is fully automated and has ran for 3 weeks while I was out of town with just some occasional frozen mysis feeding by friends dropping by every 3 days.
  4. Thanks PB! Yeah I’m kind of thinking just every 3 days to drop in a couple cubes, some nori in the clip for the tangs, make sure water level is good in sump and top off water bucket, make sure skimmer isn’t overflowing (that’s my number one issue, and my skin mate float doesn’t always turn it off) or even just an on call emergency contact if I notice something on the apex or camera. The tank is pretty sell sufficient. Thanks j-dog I’ll reach out too. between the two of you it would be nice to have a couple emergency contacts I could text if something was going south. happy to return the favor for when anyone else goes out of town too.
  5. I’m hoping to get out of town for at least a couple weeks here soon. Anyone in the hobby (or with trustworthy 🤨 teenage kids) that is interested in checking in on my tank maybe every 2-3 days? I have a webcam, full apex with trident / fish feeder, and infinite automated water top off. But as you know Murphy’s law will strike the day after I leave. Probably a seam failure 😂 this is less of a sitting thing, but more of a in case something goes south thing. the fish seem to subsist on pellet food for a week, but I’m not sure about 2-3 weeks. I try to toss a cube of frozen mysis and some nori in at least once a day, so dropping in a couple cubes twice a week would go a long way in ensuring everyone stays well fed. I can pay per visit. Or I can reward with corals. I’ll probably be breaking this tank down this fall so I could hook you up in that case. I’m right behind Riverdale HS.
  6. Thanks Flash. Yeah I’m offering upwards of $100 worth of frags and your first filter roll change for free just so I don’t have to return the unit, but I guess I’ll be returning it soon.
  7. Brand new in box $350 for the roller and extra roll and I’ll let you pick a couple frags from my tank.
  8. I have a blue linkia not doing well. Hard to see in the photo, but it’s lost some flesh in a few spots. Also it developed spots about two weeks ago. tank is an 18 month old 525XL with a fair amount of biodiversity. But I understand these stars can still be tricky. I adopted him from another member about 9 months ago. ammonia 0 Nitrite 0 nitrate .2 phosphate 0.07 any thoughts of what I can do?
  9. So I manifolded my setup and love it. I have my return, nitrate reactor, UV, and one extra that currently isn’t used. Ball valve is good enough to control flow rate for UV, you can estimate it by how fast you fill a bucket. As monkey boy says reactors are a bit annoying they need to be cleaned at least quarterly but nothing else would dent my nitrates (well maybe I should buy a filter roller lol) Don’t know about algae scrubber my sump grows chaeto faster than I desire to trim it. I just gave monkey boy a basketball size clump two weeks ago and it’s back. And +1 for lanthium chloride too.
  10. All bought new, used as a frag tank for a year. 400gph overflow. Likely needs new bulkheads since i solvent welded to them😝 stand has some rust. Tank is in good shape just dirty. Front glass should be very clean and clear since I used a scraper on it only a couple times and tank never had sand in it. Basically just asking for 1/2 off the overflow new, you get the tank and stand for free.
  11. I have zoas all across my tank I need to always thin for $20-30 I’ll hook anyone up with several polyps and varieties. Lots of utter chaos. near Hillsdale
  12. Asking $20 for each. No reagent. And only one glass vial for the alkalinity checker, not that you really need two
  13. I’d buy one if you would meet me a cuttlefish sometime!
  14. Can hook you up with a volleyball size piece. Clean tank, last time I got tested 😉 Located close to Jeff.
  15. Hi everyone - quick update - All the Sunkist frags are pending and priority was given those who wanted some Zoas too and how soon they could pickup. I do have several more Sunkists I just need to get them off their rock or wait for the babies to grow out so I will reach back out to those expressed interest 🙂
  16. Making space in the tank and my Zoo garden needs to be trimmed back. Most of these are pieces of rubble with at least two varieties on Zoas on them. Some might have 3. The utter chaos zoos are all these frags. not sure what the others are. Basically I'm asking $15 for most of these and $20 for the Sunkist mushrooms. There is also a green leather coral I'm also asking $15 for. I'm near Jeff in SW.
  17. Thank Jeff, I'll drop in tomorrow to pick it up.
  18. Would be great if we could meet at cuttlefish too. I can pay $ or give you much more with a frag or two!
  19. Haha. Hard to compete with free, I also have a 20 gallon that is 95% full but I was hoping to get $25 for it, also have a regulator and reactor for sale too. I'm by Cuttlefish.
