  1. sent you a pm with some of what I have
  2. Cool urchin. What are you looking for in trade? Softies, zoos, lps...
  3. I think spectras is a marineland. I personally preffer the stealth heaters(a 50w would be great for a 10 gal) but for his set-up it works well. Welcome:D
  4. I would be interested as well. 1 or 2 depending on cost
  5. Very funny, Scott(laugh) Looking forward to the pics Roy. They should be a sweet addition to your collection.
  6. Kinda...instead of the airline using suction, or gravity,, force the air in there at a higher rate with the air pump. Works great on my recirc.
  7. Dont leave me hangin! Whered you get em?
  8. First off, I would try to add an air pump to the intake of the pump. If that doesnt suffice, can you mesh-mod the pump?
  9. Spectra has them both. I think he said he was picking up some stuff from you, so you may want to ask before then.
  10. Thanks to Frank and his wife for hosting the meting. I had fun, and got to meet some new people. Those who didnt show missed an awesome tank and a simple, fun and relaxing meeting. Next time, Ill leave the wife at home(whistle) Also thanks to the PNWMAS officers and for those who brought trades. I think it was a success!
  11. Got any pics of the fiberglass tub and the skimmer?
  12. thanks. I sent you both pms. Anyone else?
  13. I modded all my maxijet pumps a while back as an experiment. Most of them were successful, but I cant use them anymore. Looking for the stock bottom housing, and propeller assembly. If you have them laying around, let me know. I will also trade a modded one if you like. I think I have 600, 900 and 1200. Thanks
  14. I think eheim pumps are great. Maybe a 1262? Depends on how many outlets, and is it going through a wave device of any sort(scwd)? Im assuming you are going for an sps tank...
  15. Im also looking into setting up a 60gal cube. I have a rps1000 on my 100 gallon system now and it works great. I will be transferring it to the new system. Im a big fan of the recirc skimmers and am somewhat biased, (so there are more options), but thats what I would suggest. Lighting is a whole separate thread...everyone has their own opinions. Personally, I think a 250 hqi would be perfect if you have the right fixture/reflector. For a pump, depends on the gph you are looking for. Is this the closed loop pump or return? In sump or external?
  16. Nobody else, really??? Dont be shy people... http://www.pnwmas.org/forums/showthread.php?t=8695
  17. MUCH better than the 5 gal bucket!!! Nice work:D
  18. Ive used 16 to build some small stuff. Great adhesion and easy to work with. Kinda like pvc or crazy glue. I think it would work well for patching.
  19. What are you looking for? I have some #16 left over if you want it. Jason at CRPC usually has it as well.
  20. [language filter] it all to he[[
  21. Better safe than sorry. Since its your rock, you know where it is bio-wise. Not a bad idea about the prawn either. Lets you know how strong your bio filter is and what it can take. Should build plenty of new bacteria(the good kind) that will help down the road too.
