12-1 is Shallow Seas. I watched something last night while trying to sleep, don't know which show it was, but was about killer jellyfish. I'm now afraid to go diving in the Great Barrier Reef. (scary)

I'm plagued with ich again and losing fish every day, don't want any more loss. Needing something around a 30 gallon tank or so to put them in hypo salinity.

I just need a better lens to win some of those. Pretty pink! Prettier than the red ones I've got.

Has anybody compared this device to a known good brand to check accuracy? I asked this same question and got 1 reply saying to read a previous post at nano reef. 1 person's data doesn't prove much. Sounds like many have had dead to near dead batteries which could skew the info. I think that one person had something else going on other than saying it's a piece of dog pooh.

It's likely that your fish were eating them and keeping the numbers down.

Now that's funny right there. Do I have something you don't and vise versa? If so, let me know. As far I'm aware, it's just another way of firing the bulbs. It basically runs double ended bulbs just fine, but when using a single ended, it runs at a higher wattage and puts out more light at the expense of longevity of the bulb. Electronic ballasts will run any bulb. After buying this system, I realized it was a SE pendants and the price of bulbs are about $20 more each. (scary) Couldn't pass up the deal from Steve though, my wife would never allowed it otherwise. Figured not putting up Xmas lights will cover the expense by saving it in the electric bill.
