Newish and membership payment question

Hi all,

I was here a few years ago (I think I used "sixty-five") and now I'm back, starting fresh. I tried to pay for a membership but there was no place to add credit card info. I entered billing info name and address, but the only option after that was "confirm and pay." Clicking that did not take me to a payment form but said there was a processing error. Thought the admins should know, or maybe it's just me? I'll keep trying.

@TheClark, are you able to help this member?  I wanted to try recreating the steps to see what's going on, but I couldn't even get as far as adding membership to my cart, since an alert popped up that I'm already a paid member and can't buy again.

I got it to work!  For some reason, when I unchecked the box for auto renewal, it took me right to the PayPal payment form. Well, it's done. Thanks, Flashy, for asking for help on my behalf.

I had the same problem and they manually added my membership and I paid through PP.  I did not uncheck the auto renewal though. This should be some good diagnostic info for the administrators I would think.

Welcome back thanks for trying so hard to support us! I'm not sure why it's not working right but we recently upgraded and there are always bugs to workout! I just wish it wasn't one of the functions that helps keep the bills paid!

Not sure if it helps or not but my experience was as follows...

Got the email notification about "time to renew" and was able to follow the links and pay with paypal.  Forgot I had setup the auto renew feature last year when I joined back up so didn't think to change that. About a week later, I got a notice saying that my auto renewal had gone through.  So... both pieces seemed to be working but it did allow me to pay twice.
