  3. I've got an AI Hydra 26 HD (no mount though)
  4. Do you sell any of your F/2 mix as well?
  5. Seeing if anyone has a spare mount they want to sell....thanks
  6. Interested in the gobi/pistol shrimp, pink bird's nest and red goni (if not more)....PM sent
  7. I'll try and swing by....if I do, here's what I'll bring: - 3 Hanna Alkalinity checkers (1 with reagent only used once, expires 3/2023, 1 with NIB reagent, but it expired 9/2022, and one with no reagent) - 1 Hanna Calcium checker (half reagent remaining, expires 1/2024) - 1 Hanna Low Range Nitrate checker (2 unopened reagent boxes, both with 10/2025 expiration) - 1 Salifert Saltwater Master Test kit (unopened) - 2 Red Sea Algae Control Pro Test kits (1 unopened, 1 half used) - 1 Red Sea Marine Care Multi Test kit (half used)
  8. A friend brought this dragon soul torch over for me to try and save....I did a quick 15 min iodine dip, followed by a 5 min hydrogen peroxide dip (3%, 1:5 ratio). Anything else I should try? I do have some cipro I can try, but I've never used it before, so I'm not sure on the amount or duration if that's something I should try next....Any advice?
  9. Still trying to find the sweet spot for my Nanno phyto as well. I know Poseidon's instructions say harvest after 7-10 days, but as David mentioned, it's just not as dark as I'd prefer. However, anything after 12 days or so is pretty much a coin flip, on whether or not the culture crashes and starts going clear (it's happened when I've added fertilizer after a week, and without adding anything). I've got 3 jugs proceeding nicely at 9 days now, so I'm thinking about harvesting 2 of them after 10 days, then try to get the 3rd to 14 days.
  10. Yeah, I tried sending you a PM and it says you can't receive them (maybe your mailbox is full?)
  11. My tube anemone had a baby…. Looking to trade for other corals I don’t already have (blastos, acans, frogspawn, etc) - located in Happy Valley….pm me if interested Note: Pic is of the mother
  12. I'll take the anemone and can come anytime today to pickup.....just let me know
  13. Found one.......please close.....thanks!
  14. Looking for something like this (I don't need the hoses or the media cartridge).....just need to set it up as a condensation catcher that goes prior to my CO2 scrubber.....thanks
  15. Oh Yeah, I'm definitely switching....I've been watching some BRS videos on it and apparently, you just need to setup the Apex/DOS to control for the desired Alk level (Calc an Mg will pretty much stay in line.....at least they say that they will LOL)
  16. I currently dose Fritz Aquatic's 2 parts (Alk and Calc) using my Apex and Neptune DOS setup. However, I'm thinking about switching to All For Reef, and was wondering if anyone else using an Apex/DOS setup has done something similar. I rarely do water changes anymore, and I've heard that the All For Reef will be better for reintroducing trace elements into the system. I'm curious how to setup the Apex to command the DOS to dose only one thing, but be based off of both the Alk/Calc readings. Thanks in advance for your help/advice!
  17. I've got some you can have....even isolated on a separate rock this stuff keeps trying to spread everywhere LOL
  18. I've got a couple hammer frags (each with 5-7 heads) that I've got too much of.....just seeing if anyone wants to trade for a hammer (or frogspawn, or anything else really) that I don't have (doesn't need to be like-for-like in size either). I know they're not exotic or rare, but they're fast growers for sure. Located in Happy Valley, OR. Thanks
  19. Don't the Apex probes need to be stored in water when not in use?
  20. @obrien.david.j - I'd be happy to, but I'm not sure how helpful it would be, since I'm just a carbon copy of your setup (only on a smaller scale)! I had my first harvest a few days ago and I'm starting out by dosing about 250ml to the tank every day. I'm looking forward to testing my NO3 and PO4 after a week of dosing to see what sort of effect this might have on them. I'll also start dosing some microbacter7, which should help to balance out any N and P increase and will hopefully be the final blow to the cyano!
  21. The purpose would be to feed frozen food while away for a week or so....5-6 hours wouldn't be much of a vacation
  22. I'm thinking of doing something similar to this and was wondering if anyone here had tried it as well: The main concern in the comments section seems to be the food remaining in the dosing line (outside of the fridge) going bad, which could be remedied by reversing the pump back into the fridge after feeding. I primarily feed Cuttlefish's Frozen LRS food, with separate mysis and fish eggs supplemented (as well as seaweed). I do have an Apex, so if I could get a pump that works with it to do a quick reverse pump after feeding, that may be the way to go. Also, there seems to be concerns on if the fridge keeps it cold enough as well as maybe adding a stirrer to keep things from settling at the bottom of the cup. The idea would be to only keep about 1 weeks worth of food at a time (quick family vacations, etc). Anyone else found success with something like this?
