Ive fragged all kinds of corals but not a lobo. Is it easy to do without a wet bandsaw?

I’ve always fragged my torches by only cutting through the hard skeleton (yellow lines). How about cutting individual head through the fleshy part (red lines)? Is that relatively safe or is it more likely to kill a torch?

All my levels are stable. My acroporas are healthy. Everything is healthy. I wonder if the corals are essentially out competing the coraline

My reefer 170 is three years old. Corals look good but all the coraline disappeared a few months ago and it doesn’t grow new coraline anymore. Weird... the bottom glass is spotless
