  1. Here is a pic of before and after. The Walt Disney has been growing good over the last 8 months. I'm starting to add more lighting to help it color up.
  2. I use either my Sony a7rII with Sony 90mm macro or my Canon 5D Mark IV with EF 100mm lens.
  3. Albertareef I definitely agree. When I had the idea to do this video I was originally planning on scoring each of the 3 companies across several metrics. However, when I got my results back I was shocked that the experience and even the data was quite different from company to company. At that point i thought it would be a bit arbitrary for me to assign scores and do a review style video when the 3 were so different, so in the end I decided to leave it up to the viewer to decide which one fits their situation the best. Personally I'm still using the Triton test because I stocked up on it during Black Friday and I'll probably keep using it because I have more historical data in their system. However, if I have an emergency I'd probably opt for CoralVue. I actually just sent in another Triton test today after using all my home test kits on the same sample of water, I'm interested to see home much variance I get compared to the ICP test. That's one thing I wish I would have done when I sent in the previous 3 tests but oh well. I'll share my results when they come in and do a comparison in case it might benefit anyone. Here's what tested with my home kits: Alkalinty (Hanna) Calcium (Hanna) Phosphate (Hanna) Magnesium (Salifert) Iodine (Red Sea) Potassium (Salifert)
  4. Thank you! Yeah I just started doing ICP tests roughly 8 months ago myself. Overall it's great information and I think that the companies offering these tests are on the right track for the most part.
  5. I'll be using this thread to document my 200 gallon tank build as well as sharing some of my DIY projects and macro photography. The tank was started in Aug of 2018 using rock and some components from my 90 gallon which was about 5 years old. Here's a quick overview of my system, I'll be posting periodic updates. 6. We snagged this from Paradise Corals and named it "Mr.Bret's Unicorn Poop chalice"
  7. Last time I was at Rudy's I believe he had some dendro's.
  8. I just grabbed this guy from Paradise Corals! But I did see that he had a few dendro's I think they are in his Seahorse tank.
  9. householdofpayne the Red Tail Triggerfish (aka Sargassum triggerfish) is one of the few reef safe triggers. He hasn't bothered any corals, just 1 time where he bit some Duncan tentacles on accident when he was racing to grab a chunk of food headed towards the Duncan. No major harm done.
  10. This is a picture of my favorite fish. I waited over 2 years to get this my Red Tail Trigger.
  11. Would anyone be interested in the GB Hawaiian God Zoas and GB Cosmic Dust ? I have a few frags of each I was thinking about bringing. Here is a close up picture of the GB Hawaiian God GB Cosmic Dust This is a macro shot of the colony before I fragged it. https://www.instagram.com/p/BuNGHjcH1yi/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
  12. Thank you! It's been a long journey.
  13. Here is my 200 gallon tank after the move.
  14. I really haven't shared much on the forum showing my 200 gallon journey. Most of this has been documented on my Instagram page under What_the_Frag. I thought it would be nice to share a few of my videos highlighting my tank. This was a video showing my 90 Gal tank before I upgraded to the 200 Gal
  15. I will take the torch and the krypotonite candy cane

  22. Beginning of February would be great. I should have some frags ready by then. I agree with pdxmonkeyboy about building the community.
  23. I use a roller mat, a refugium, algae turf scrubber, and a protein skimmer. This keeps my phosphate at .03 to .04 steady on my 200 gallon mixed reef while feeding daily and plenty of food.
