That's awesome John! Those look great. Can we see the same video sans filter? My Hydra's have a ton of side bleed and if/when I lose one outside of warranty I'm already planning on selling the other 3 and getting 3 of these. I'm jealous!

"Every one" says Bayer is the ticket for dipping corals. But Bayer has many products. I bought their Rose and Flower Insect Killer. Is this the one to user?
Count me out of "every one". Since @Gumby and @Lexinverts turned me on to potassium chloride I've never looked back or had a pest issue again. I felt awful dipping my hands in Bayer, even with gloves, so this food grade product works a lot better for me. My apologies for not answering your question directly Paul but that ended up being my answer to the Bayer question ultimately.

Sorry for the slow updates, been very busy. I believe I have all samples in hand for people from this forum. Still waiting on a few others.
My best update is - I am nearly done with the big cycling experiment, and have a bunch of samples in hand from that! The good news thats obvious right away is that the tanks behaved very differently in terms of nutrient cycling, so it appears I was able to avoid major problems with cross contamination.
I'll post real updates in the next few days...
Any update on this?

One Prime HD should be enough for a 29g. A Hydra 26 would be probably overkill but would also work. Good luck!

I like to plant lepto's next to them. Then I laugh as the coral grows right over them!

I’ve never tried these, going to now. Thanks for the resurrection!
Same. I need something like this to clean the algae that forms at the sand line. My flipper magnet is too rough and prone to scratching the glass.

Looks great! Glad to see another heavily tattoo'd member of the community!

Did you calibrate it? They usually have a screw to zero it out before you take any readings.

Wow very cool. Maybe we can have a laser demonstration at one of our meetings.
We uh, really ought to do this.

Partly luck, partly that I don’t have many fish. They also tend to stay away, I’m guessing due to the crackling sound it makes. I’m sure it’s pretty loud under water. (assuming fish can hear 🤷♂️)
They sure do!

Can we see macro results?

Looks like little tiny nems. It also looks like they've stung your Bonsai a little bit around them. They're so incredibly small though! I wonder if your RBTA split little tiny ones off.

Best not to drip acclimate fish. As soon as the bag is opened, any waste that comes in contact with oxygen turns to ammonia and becomes deadly.

That's incredibly generous. Just so the rest of us can see, any good pictures you'd like to share before it comes down?

This build is incredible. I love the blue back on it. That was quite the feat getting it in the house!
