  1. Looking for a used ATO, I'm not good with the diy stuff and prefer used to save a little $$.... Let me know what you have, price, location etc. Looking to stay under ~$40 if possible but more in the $30 range is preferred if anyone has anything please let me know! Thanks [emoji4] Sent from my BLU R1 HD using Tapatalk
  2. I have two kids and was a stay at home mom for a while, worked at a Veterinary clinic as a Patient Care Coordinator and Kennel Attendant for several years. For the last year I have been working for a company called Crowd Cow, I work in one of their fulfillment centers in Forest Grove. We ship beef, pork, chicken, blueberry Salmon and recently started with Lamb. We sell a lot of meat that's harder to find (won't find in any grocery store) and VERY expensive! Like Japanese Wagyu, from Kagoshima Japan and Olive Wagyu not sold anywhere but through our company, these cattle are literally fed olives... Anyway I really like working there and on my free time I sit and stare at my tanks wondering what else I can get for them lol... Setting up my new tank (new to me anyway) this weekend and am really excited! Always fun to get new reef stuff [emoji4] Sent from my BLU R1 HD using Tapatalk
  3. You probably have more... I'm amazed how many are there when you look at night, or last year when I dismantled a tank and started taking out the sand there were LOTS and huge ones!? Little ones and big ones I didn't even know we're in there Sent from my BLU R1 HD using Tapatalk
  4. Wrong Taylor I think lol Sent from my BLU R1 HD using Tapatalk
  5. I have a pretty Blue Devil Damsel that will need a new home this weekend after I start swapping tanks, I live out by hagg lake though, I can meet you at lake stop grocery or Gaston market if it's even worth it for anyone. I may be able to meet in Forest Grove. These pictures are from the internet, looks identical though
  6. I'm swapping tanks this weekend and am making room for other fish so this little guy (probably girl actually) needs a new home. It's a pretty Blue Devil Damsel, super bright blue color. It's free but I'm located out by hagg lake and you'd have to meet me at Lake stop grocery or Gaston market. Not sure if it's worth the drive for anyone but if you're in Forest Grove id be happy to meet you in Forest Grove. These pictures are from the internet, he or she looks identical to these pictures it's tough to get a decent picture with him not wanting to hold still and thinking I'm about ready to feed him Sent from my BLU R1 HD using Tapatalk
  7. My tank water was 94 degrees... Had one crack open years ago too and shock the hell out of me when I put my hand in there Sent from my BLU R1 HD using Tapatalk
  8. Yikes I'm so glad you were there!! A heater malfunction was the cause of my crash last year, after that I spent so much time researching... Sent from my BLU R1 HD using Tapatalk
  9. I'll definitely let you know!! I've never made one myself but I think I could manage at least that Sent from my BLU R1 HD using Tapatalk
  10. In that case I think I'll go with the first one thanks!! What size sump you think? Maybe a 20 gallon?? Do you have one you want to sell lol Sent from my BLU R1 HD using Tapatalk
  11. Oh gosh I'm sorry I didn't mention that lol, yes it has one in the wet dry filter, no clue what it is but they said it works great Sent from my BLU R1 HD using Tapatalk
  12. I like it better looks wise for sure, do you think I'd need a new return pump if I swapped it out for a sump though Sent from my BLU R1 HD using Tapatalk
  13. Ok so I think I've narrowed it down to two tanks that fit my budget, either one will need something... TANK #1- (First Two Pictures) First is a 50 gallon reef ready tank with overflow, oak stand and canopy. Only thing I don't like is it has a wet dry filter sump.. this tank is first two pictures, wet dry filter is second picture.. my question is how easy would it be to just swap out the wet dry filter with a sump?? Would I need a different return pump for it or could it be just as simple as removing the wet dry filter and replacing it with a sump? This one is $50 cheaper than tank 2. TANK #2(Third Picture)- this one is also a 50 gallon, it's an acrylic reef ready with overflow and sump, it doesn't come with return pump though and I'd need help figuring out what return to get, picture #3, only one picture of this one, this one is $50 more by the way... I need help figuring out which one is better, tank #1 I'm wondering if I can just swap out the wet dry filter for a sump without having to do anything else like getting another return pump, tank #2 I like but would need help figuring out what return pump to use, the seller had it plumbed to a large sump along with his other tanks so he doesn't know exactly what return to use, this one's also $50 more.. I'm not super experienced with sumps and return pumps so this is a tough decision and I'd like as easy and cheap as possible so please any help would be greatly appreciated!! And depending on which one I go with I'll either be needing a return pump or sump cheap lol. Thanks [emoji4] Sent from my BLU R1 HD using Tapatalk
  14. I'm looking for a stand for a 65 gallon tank, the tank itself is 36"×18". Thanks Sent from my BLU R1 HD using Tapatalk
  15. I doubt those holes could be all there is though, I don't know Sent from my BLU R1 HD using Tapatalk
  16. Here's the pic Sent from my BLU R1 HD using Tapatalk
  17. These are the only holes I can see, two small holes in this circle... I'm thinking you may be right. I'm still waiting for a picture of the back of the tank, I really like the fact it's a 72 bowfront but I'm not sure I want to deal with this since I wouldn't know how to convert it to something better... Might go with a 50 gallon acrylic I found instead. Really just looking for something between 50-75 gallons but dang the bowfront would have been great lol Sent from my BLU R1 HD using Tapatalk
  18. I'm waiting on a picture of the back of the tank, maybe that will tell me something anyway. Sent from my BLU R1 HD using Tapatalk
  19. I did ask, she posted the ad for her sister [emoji53] I don't know if I want to bother with it now... If I had more experience with this type of thing I would probably consider buying it and making any necessary modifications but since I'm me I would probably end up buying it and not having a clue what to do... 20. Oops double post!! Can one of the mods please delete one?? Sent from my BLU R1 HD using Tapatalk
  21. So I'm looking at this 72 gallon bowfront someone has for sale I'm considering (I've always loved the look of bowfronts and this happens to be the size I want) but I've never seen this type of overflow (not even sure it is one) I'm confused by the pipe in the middle, the clear box with the U Tube I'm hoping isn't it because that's an automatic bad idea I'm sure... but the tank already appears drilled so why bother with a hob overflow with U-Tube? I'm not experienced with this stuff, most tanks I've had were either sumpless or had the one drain and return?? Anyway I hope this isn't a dumb question 😜 I just really would like to make this work if possible, I haven't bought it yet the girl who's selling it posted it for her sister and I haven't bothered to contact her quite yet because I wanted to try and find out what I'm dealing with here first or if it's a bad idea, flood waiting to happen or maybe it's just missing the overflow box?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!! I'm having trouble receiving PM's not quite sure why yet.....
  22. So close to me this time!! I know I can actually make this one yay!! Sent from my BLU R1 HD using Tapatalk
  23. Here's an example of what it costs and how it works, I chose 35 bowfront as an example and for $40 you get a crazy good deal! Shipping included so even better, at a store you spend easily$2-3 per snail or more Sent from my BLU R1 HD using Tapatalk
  24. You should check out Reef Cleaners online!! It's an amazing deal so much cheaper than stores and you can enter your tank size and it will give you a bundle, I actually already had a few Snails just wanted to replenish my population and picked a smaller tank size bundle. For example you choose a 35 gallon tank you will get around ~60 snails, good Snails too like Nerites and Ceriths you can customize it and add Snails like Asterinas, Turbos and hermits for like ten cents, or emerald Crabs for around $4. Shipping is included in the bundle so amazing deal [emoji106] by far best deal I've found Sent from my BLU R1 HD using Tapatalk
