  1. Mine is still alive and going...but the hasn't split since the last picture. So, I am throwing in the towel. Can't wait to hear what happens.
  2. What's your pH at now? Kalkwasser is a good option. Baking soda or Soda Ash will work too.
  3. Checking water parameters. Bob Moore is here.

  4. You should be able to put the cursor in those boxes and type. I just tried it.
  5. Bert and I were planning on leaving Corvallis at 4:30 am, since we have to be there a bit early to setup the club tank. Any takers? Three spots left.
  6. I am not sure, but I remember Barrier Reef did two frags for $20 bucks and there were tons of stylophoras. You might even be able to find that locally.
  7. This wouldn't hurt to say...but BadxGillen and I are leaving Corvallis Saturday morning. Anyone want to carpool?
  8. Tanks looking good! Welcome to the forum.
  9. I didn't know the Apex itemizes your electricity. That is actually pretty cool. Did you end up putting in how much it costs per kiloWatt*hour?
  10. From my understanding, this option: Means that you can bring two or more adults in for $30 dollars total. The downfall is you only get one frag ticket, which I think were $5 dollars.
  11. Last year I know of at least 10 or 15 members that attended, but there were tons of others from the Pacific Northwest area. PNWMAS will have a table setup for potential new members. Plus, we will be selling donated corals throughout the day. Hope to see you there!
  12. I think you have one of the coolest banners. For sure.
  13. Welcome. Sounds like you have a bit of experience, but if you have any questions. There is probably someone around here who can help. Hope to see you at the next meeting.
  14. I have a feeling it was an acid burn. For future incidients, you can search online for the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) of the ingredient and they will give you sure fire guidance on how to handle any type of incident, spill, burn, disposal etc.
  15. Ouch! Yeah, I'd stay clear of getting most testing solutions on your skin. Many are strong acids and bases. If you do it again, run your hand under water for a minute or so. It should help. Prolonged exposure will cause damage.
  16. I did a similar thing when I doubled the concentration of my alk solution. Dosage wise, a little bit of a change in a highly concentrated solution is much different than a little change in a low concentrated solution. My alk ended up going to 12 for a week or so. It was even scarier when I decided to switch my DIY alkalinity solutions from sodium carbonate (soda ash) to sodium bicarbonate (baking soda). Even testing a few times a day didn't help my anxiety.
  17. I think you mean how cool all your tanks are.
  18. Don't see a lion fish too often. Nice tank!
