Miles, it's nothing to do with anyone being taken advantage of by you, but you know if we bend the rules for one person, it creates problems with less honest sellers down the road. I think it's best if you start a new thread with prices listed, so I'm locking this thread.

Suggestions from the board were LED light, DC pump, MP-#, RO/DI, & doser. If something on the list jumps out at you, give a shout! Other items, let us know.

Not at all. I like seeing the shiny colors in stores; it’s beautiful. But my own tank lights are not the same as the ultra blue LEDs in stores, nor do I want them to be. I like my T5s, and if flashing white light on corals gives me a better view of the colors I’ll see at home, I don’t think that should offend anyone.

Bring a waterproof white flashlight to your LFS, and you’ll be all right. Store tanks are much more blue than mine.

Blue substrate, plugs, etc. are easy giveaways. Lower the image saturation and increase the amount of yellow (opposite of blue) in shadows, midtones, and highlights, and you get this: May or may not be what your coral looks like, but I do this with all online images before buying anything, just to give myself an idea of what else it might look like. Even if the appearance is wrong, it at least gets my brain to see something different.
