I'm guessing heat? Haven't heard of any internally plumbed one's failing tho.

No. A lot of ads say you can but in the manual it says internal only, I've heard of a lot of them cracking because they were plumbed externally.

I'm actually thinking of going SPS dominate tank anyways.

I'm using a Jebao DC12000 even at full speed I can barely hear it and only when my skimmer is off. The water coming into my sump is the loudest part of my system.

So I've had the idea of starting up a new tank for a while now, only have three major problems, money, time and where to keep everything while transitioning. I've thought about using stock tanks for live stock and one for rock, but I don't really have the room at my place for them nor do I have the equipment to run two systems. The other idea I have is to just sell all the live stock, corals, tank and maybe the rock. I would keep all the equipment for the new setup. The second option would give me all the time I'd need and some money to build/restart. On that note I'll post some pictures, I'm looking for a fair offer, if you see something you like or have questions either pm me or reply.

I'm no expert but I don't think you have to worry as much about lateral movement, as you do bends and vertical rise.

That seems like a much better way of doing it.

If you have an old filter sock maybe try cutting it and hanging it over the baffle.

I have a stand and tank just taking up room in my garage, I think it's a 29ish gal tank.

I've got my old HOB sitting in the garage as a back up.

I have some GSP, devils hand frags also have a Haitian anemone. I won't be going to the meet unfortunately, if someone wants to pick them up I'd be ok with that.

Ya they have been in there for a while now, that is way I am thinking one of my fish have started nipping my LPS. So far my Zoas, Acans, and Duncans are the only ones being affected. The Zoas and Acans are close together but the Duncans are half the tank away. I'll try to get pictures in a little.
