got my 1st tank when I was five 1966 and had them ever since.. 1st saltwater in 1985-86. 1st larger SW in 1991 1st pico (they wern't called that then.. they just call you crazy for trying to keep one that small. Had it for about 6mo to a year more or less) was a 5g fowlr 1992. have kept from guppie to sharks, (only did thant one Time in 1993 was a nurse shark (didn't really know that it was a bad Idea at the time but quickly found out and sold her back to the store at huge loss.. never again) have to look thru some old photos see what I can dig up.

Really outstanding looking, now you need a pair of mp10's, then a120 starfire then more lights then the mp40's, then a new sump , then 400g ect lol.. the bug has got you now Lol! But really back on topic, Its Looking Great keep it up and like has been said so far the shaded areas can work you, low light coral or acclimating new LS to the light.

Sounds like a misunderstanding.. have always have good experances with SWF. Did you tell them you have shrimp (yea both ways they should have asked also)? I would get it out though.. Give them a second chance think you will find they are great to work with

@ kriz2fer both the drip rate and bubble count are set at 10 per min. (took for ever to get them stable at that rate) think I'm in the end game with setting this thing up (calcium reactor). corals are loving it a lot of the are showing better color and better PE with new ato keeping the water level (and SG) constant and the reactoer keeping the ca way more stable. glad I switched but getting it dialed has been a pain in the $%^$% LOL. thanks for the input.

@ reefnjunkie thanks sounds good will give it a try and see what happens. I know the corals are using cal because the ca has gone down. the alk is driving me nuts had it spike to 17 has to resist the urge to do a massive water change.. have just let it come down naturaly trying to get it stable at 10 +- .5 then will dose ca to bring it to 440-460 mag has been fine thur out.. I'll hold off on the water change for 3 days and check dkh daily (and phos just in case) and see what it (dkh) does and post results, thanks
