Thanks for hosting today Jeff My wife and I enjoyed meeting you and the chance to see the Razor/Radion/Vegas all side by side was way cool.

Thanks for the offer Bret, very kind of you. Being these aren't going to see a lot of heavy duty use I think I'll just go hit up Harbor Freight... Hillsboro is quite the drive from here and it'll probably cost less than the gas to get out there... Freaking $4.00 a gallon just blows me away

Didn't find much at HD/Lowes... HD had one rated at 12lbs and a bunch of bath tub grab bar things Harbor Freight however http://www.harborfreight.com/dual-cup-suction-lifter-46134.html Thank you!!

Does anyone know where I can find a couple Suction Cup Handles locally for moving Tanks and glass? I have a large mirror (8'x4') I need to move and I'm thinking these will come in very handy

I'll be there for sure! I've been wanting to see all 3 of those LEDs! Seeing them all at once is a huge plus -
Congrats dude!! Enjoy em while you can. They grow up way too fast... Next thing you know you'll be cleaning the shotgun while she brings her biker BF home to meet the family

Grats on the nice score! I'm looking forward to the camera coming back from Boston

If ReefFit backs out on the Duncan I can be there in 20 minutes!

Usually ammonia in those levels, in a well established tank, means something has died and is rotting away. You probably have some Nitrites also. If your newly mixed SW is close in parameters (PH, Alk, Cal and Temp) to your tank IMHO you could a 40%-50% change

I'd be up for it

Black Rock is a great little spot but there's always a lot of people there (It's on the beach at the Sheridan In the Kaanapali Resort area) I was told last year that it's mating season for the Spotted Eagle Ray after seeing two (on consecutive days) swim directly under me there. There's another great spot not far from there.. Honolua Bay, just head north on the highway out of Lahaina. Once you're past all the resorts and such look for a paved parking area on the left, it's right on the road, and you're there. Not as much coral as places like Turtle Beach but there's more fish diversity than you'll see at Molokini (mostly black tangs... lots and lots of Black Tangs) or Black Rock

Whoot!! I'm just glad the little guy survived! I'll go with the tongs. Spare tongs is always a good thing -
Just got home from a wedding... Almost forgot to get this up It got a little bleached from the new light but still kicking... Looks like I have a total of 4.5mm (not the growth I'd hoped for this month) Wanted to clean the glass but have all these snail eggs everywhere and didn't want to kill off the free food

Awesome, I'd be happy to deliver to Lakeridge or Kims place too

I just did a lighting upgrade so it's time to get rid of the TEK light Used 10 months, in great shape, comes with a splash shield and hanging kit. Asking $150: Total Retail is over $350 new (Does not come with leg kit pictured on the tank)

Petstores in oregon that will drill fish tanks
Rick T replied to Matteo's topic in General Discussion
I drilled 8 holes in my 120 with no problems. I have a couple bits around here... I think for 3/4" and 1.5" bulkheads (I'd have to check to be sure I have them both) If you wanted to borrow them you'd be welcome to. If you wanted some help/supervision I'd be happy to come by being you're so close. Of course you'd have to do the drilling as I wouldn't want to be responsible. But, like I say it wasn't a problem on my tank -
Avoid aquacon like the plague. You will not get what you think you're buying and trying to contact them after your payment has gone through will be near impossible. For instance, they have "Marshall islands live rock" I myself wonder where they got it as it's been illegal to collect rock in the Marshall islands as of August 2008 (just an example of their deceptive practices) If you do a search for aquacon at reefcentral you'll find nothing but horror stories

I have a pair of McCosker's Flasher Wrasse and a Talbot's Wrasse (Indonesian) in my 120 that are model citizens
