Cali tort from Kim and Beth that decided to RTN on me over night and then just stop and has not gotten any worse. I know I should cut it but it seems fine now so I will watch instead. OIAB Maricultured Pink Mille Also got some sick Tyree Armageddons from Kim and Beth for an amazing deal. You can see them here in my Zoa garden Also picked up this beauty from Ed's reef for a great deal. I was very hesitant since I have so many inverts but Kim and Beth talked me into it. So far he is just amazing Here is a pic of my Maxi-Mini I bought from Garrett on the group buy. It is huge now Need to do something with that stuff around the maxi it is getting out of hand. I was hoping the Mini would kill it back but not to far. They seem to be happy together.

Well since the (wife) is out for the evening I might as well go picture crazy. So here we go. So it was not on my Trip to Portland but on Tuesday I picked up my Westside Tri-color from Miles. Still a bit browned out but has good polyp extension so hoping it colors up soon. This thing is huge and the deal was amazing. Thanks again Miles(rock2) Crappy pic of the TECO Favia I picked up on Beth's B-day run to Jody's. Along with another crapy pic of my new Red Hornets I got from Jody as well. I also got a sweet frag of Tyree Seasons greetings monti cap from Jody. Although this brings me too a whole new story. My long spine urchin decided to consume the entire thing in the middle of the night. It also decided to eat part of my hawkins frag, cali tort, and reeftech starburst.(flame) Needless to say he went back where he came from. I don't blame him I am sure he was hungry since he was huge and I have almost no algae in my tank but coraline. I imagine it was just sick of coraline so it decided to expand it's horizons and look for something that would get him taken out, and back to a tank with stuff to eat. Poor guy! Still mad at him though.

Ok so this is a bit delayed but I have been so busy and have not had the time to post up pics and we all know that (worthless). So I had to wait to start this. So last Saturday Notpennysboat (Jerod) and I went to P-town to pick up his new 90 from Noobtosalt. I of course being the addict that I have become took the most of this trip and had plenty planned for us along the way. So we left at 9 am and our first stop was at Garrett's to drop off some frags I was trading in. I got out of there in less than 10 minutes which is amazing for me. Next we stopped at Mandinga's work to pick up the Acan lord colony I bought from him. We got out of there and headed straight to Upscales where we met JenMac to pick up Notpennysboat light for his new tank. We had a good conversation that put us a bit behind, but we all know how we lose track we of time when we are engaged in conversation about the hobby. He promises that a build thread is coming but we have to drill it first. So after that we went to Jesse's house to pick up the 90. We had to stare at his tank for a long time before we even thought about loading it up. He was cool enough to let me float my Acan as well just to keep the temp up since we still had such a long time ahead of us. I know it would have been fine either way, but for some reason I like being paranoid and treating my bagged items with utmost care. So we loaded it up and then headed for OIAB. Jesse had to get a pump for Jerod. Not that it was hard to get us to go there. OIAB is a beautiful shop. After that we headed back to TCM Aquatics to pick up the group buy frag of the Tyree Bali Tri-color. I also had to pick up some other things because I can't help myself. We then went to go to 5 guys for dinner but iPhone maps took us somewhere not even close to 5 guys. It was getting late so we decided to skip it and just have dinner in Salem. Which got me scheming since I am an addict. (I swear this hobby is worse than crack) I called up Garrett and asked him if he wanted to go to dinner with us since his wife was out for the night. He gladly accepted so we got to his place and he drove us to some brew house. I figured if I could get him drunk enough the deals would really come out of him and I could get a grip load of deals. Well...... I was right!(rock2) G-mang hooked us up something crazy. For anyone who has not been there you are missing out. His place is phenomenal. Tanks are spotless and his selection and prices are just nutty. So we did not get out of his hair until 10:30. He even kept the lights on for us the whole time. Which means we still had a 2 hour drive ahead of us before we were home? We did not get home until around 1Am, and I didn’t get all my stuff acclimated and myself in bed until 2:15am. I had to be up at 4:30am for work. I felt like a rock star reefer style (rock2)(rock2)(rock2). So without further delay here are my crappy pics of my amazing corals. First up is the Acan Lord I got From Mandinga (Isaac) Mad right now but the color is finally coming back in it.

That Tyree piece favia is gorgeous! I wish I lived closer cause I would buy that in a heart beat. Shipping is a killer though

Ok how about my skimmer? Is that something I should turn off while dosing for a couple hours or not necessary?

How much do you dose and how often? I have heard use less than they recommend. I have about 150 gallons of total water.

Just got the Elos amino and pro skimmer. Can someone direct me to the best place to research dosing amounts, and just more info on the product? I know to start slow but how slow is my question. As well as times of the day, what order, do I turn my skimmer off etc.

You would have lost that battle John! (laugh) and I figured you had first pic of the Bali tri-color since you were up here Thursday! You need to start posting some pictures of all the things you have bought but you may run out of film quickly (laugh) Well if I ever get any time to enjoy my tank, instead of being addicted to getting every amazing piece, I will take some pics DOH!. My pics will be horrible compared to yours but I will try. I have so much stuff now it's amazing. Including the infamous black magic mille.(naughty)

I wish I lived in P-town sometimes. I totally would have arm wrestled you for that clam Kim rofl! Very nice score! Oh and btw, I got first pick on the Tyree Bali tri-color. It's all about who you know!(laugh)

All of your pictures on your last post aren't showing up. Only one I can see is the awesome pics of the Miami nightmare chalice.(scratch). I had an awesome time and Jody your corals are amazing. Anyone thinking of ordering from TECO You need too. His stuff is gorgeous and amazingly healthy.

Almost bought that coral two weeks ago. My (wife) would have killed me. I really toiled over the decision and have been upset about it ever since. Very nice piece. I loved the way it fully encrusted that plug. Don't frag it, it's so pretty.

Thank you Franklin for posting this up. I have been struggling with my skimmer trying to figure out the best way to skim. It has been very wet thus far. I am in the tea department so far but trying to get a little darker. Why you ask? I have no idea, just seems like the pictures I see are nice dark sludge.
