  1. I never have been to an event that being a paid member didn't cover, raffle tickets, food and drink on the other hand are a different story.
  2. Yes,welcome aboard! Do you still keep fresh water as in addition to your salt? I know I still do a nice planted tank or an interactive fish is still rewarding and fun, well ,see you around the forum.
  3. You know I will do my best to be there with a smile on my face and corals in hand. And Vanz I could bring your Yellow Fiji Sarco if we both attend. I hope to see you there too Emerald.
  4. I so wish I could have made it but I had to be home for the kids...and corals. Looks like it was a good meeting turnout, lotsa smiling faces so you know it was a good time. Also looks like a great place for future meets. Pizza + Coral = Good.
  5. I have never treated a salt water fish with epsom salts either and would steer you away from using it.Is it possible he is scraping against some of the tank decor? Most often the beginning of popeye is caused from an abrasion. As Randy said Clean water, good foods, possible antibiotics. I also like to keep my Quarantine at a lower salinity to assist in keeping the protozoans and such at bay.
  6. I am a little scared to know all the accumulated elements that were never supposed to be there. I am excited to see the results even though they are not for my tank and thanks for posting this up for all of us to tag along, this is certainly something good to have in discussion.
  7. You Finally got your other light,I suppose that means it is upgrade time! Still waiting for one of my units to go out before I think about trying out a new lighting unit but the Radion and the new Reef star are in my sights. Both have great reviews and both look spectacular.
  8. Amen brother,Amen. With frags comes colonies and with colonies comes frags.
  9. Good thing the market is not the same here on the west coast.I will agree though,Nice zoas and killer price.
  10. Those jack posts are sweet, would you just bolt them to blocks or pressure treated 4x4s?
  11. Nice growth going on there man, looks like an SPS city coming on strong.Mess on the sand bed?The tank is so spotless I mean Even your sump and algae look clean.
  12. Those overflow seeking snails make me so mad! It's like there is something so tasty in there.
  13. The TPA and Garret are a good source of knowledge, soak it up. Welcome to the club as well, great place to be when in the marine hobby.
  14. Thank you for thinking of me,I would love to trade you something nice next time we see each other at a meeting...If that works for you,I am sure it won't be too long.
  15. I was going to say that but it is a ways off, have you tried your Local Fish Store!?
  16. So how many till we complete the 4" order? If Sean does not want the whole 10 I can take 5 of them and if it would help for me to order another 10 of the 4" I would do so. Thanks again Kassah.
  17. Quite the rant there, but many points made. Recently I have noticed a number of the things he pointed out that ring true. Support Your Local Fish Store!!!
  18. I love these,it is nice to see the results of a poll amongst experienced hobbyist. More times than not have I learned a thing or two from such threads, unfortunately this is one time I cannot contribute my vote. No herbie here.
  19. I now know what I will be saving up for, thanks for the link man.
  20. I am getting cube envy again. Definitely making good use of that powerful return pump. Is this going to be viewable from 3 or 4 sides? Either way it is going to be killer.
  21. I have to bail out on this competition,my acan has bleached some and I feel it is in my best interest and the corals to move it from the tank it is in. At least I have a nice coral out of all this. I will still be staying tuned.
  22. FREE FRAGS!!! OH man some one will be getting some killer corals. I remember sand dollar montis used to be a pretty penny but now we have generous reefers sharing the coral love, AWESOME! Wish I still had mine.
