Update, visited a few places in salem and portland. Looking for a CUC now. DT has algae like crazy. Still waiting on a proper fuge light. Gonna be decking out display fuge when I order from reefcleaners for some sweet algae colors. Blarg!

Yeah I agree, since you have some Mh's on there, going T5 will allow you to do some nice blue/purple bulb mix that make colors pop in compliment to your MH's. Plus like grassi said, less electricity and longer life. Probably cheaper too.

I had a few of these in my display fuge as a result of some rock I added, I had an expert friend come over, he brought his blue damsel and it ate them all up. But people don't like damsels

I have a single 250 hqi mh bulb in the center of my 40b and it does a pretty [language filter] good job of lighting the entire setup. Also the more MH's you add, even one, is going to raise that tank temp, do you want a chiller? or have one? I run 250 hqi mh with 2 t5 actinics and it pushes my temp. limits pretty hard, but looks really good. Also you might be interested in building a canopy and doing custom retrofits, fun project.

I have a snapper pump with a 1" inlet, very quiet. You should look for one of those.

Yeah they can shatter 1/8th glass no problem . Dwarf sea horses are just cool!!
