I've kept fugu's in brackish environments. They are really cool and smart, just like most puffers. Make sure you give him lots of caves to hide in or he'll get bored and sit in a corner all day. Also Fugu in japanese = puffer, so these arent necessarily the ones they eat for sushi. Edit: Pretty much, don't lick it or let your dog eat it and you're safe.

So I am planning on setting up a small pond in my front deck thing sometime next month, and I would like to make a get together out of it. I will be barbecuing up some burgers and dogs, and will also have drinks (no brew, still not 21, but you are welcome to bring it if you want). Anyone who wants to come is invited! For the construction I will need to borrow a circular saw, an electric sander, a drill, and a level of some sort. If you would like to come and have one of these tools, please let me know so I can plan accordingly. Also let me know what days/times are best if you want to come so we can get the most people there.

So after making a donation to the 'Buy Garrett his second Ferarri fund,' I ended up with a few new corals! Also some live rock and finished my aquascaping. I might put one piece on the top left hand side to fill it out a bit, but overall I like it. Also set up my new skimmer for MikeP503. Thanks guys!

For pH probes yes use pH4 and pH10...He misread I think...You don't want to use R/O water for refractometers, but for calibrating pH probes, use the 4 and 10 solutions...I'd calibrate at least once every 3-4 months, and never let your probe dry out.

The best quality salt you will find will probably be the H2Ocean salt, but it is EXPENSIVE to get. Other than that I like Seachem reef salt (mixes to 455 CA and 1250 MG at 1.025 SG) but you will be adding addatives no matter what.
