I hope more of you are planning on going !! Definitely worth the trip!! Andy has some of the nicest corals and his frags are also very generous!!

We did a few blind frag swaps at 2 of the meetings which was fun.  @obrien.david.j helped to organize them.  We also did a high end one where the organizer was the judge if the item was high end enough . 
 

Others have set them up on their own as well.  They are a great way to get new corals without spending money.  Anyone can set one up .

I’m sorry I’m going to miss this but I can’t say enough about the research Eli does and the quality of his products.  
I’m in the medical field so I am well aware of the importance of beneficial bacteria and having an abundance of them is the key to mental and physical health. 
 

It is also the key to a healthy tank. I highly recommend his reef rubble and sand to seed a new tank.  Sure you could get sand and live rock from a friend but then you risk introducing harmful pests. Eli screens his products so they are pest free.  
 

I used to use Dr. Tim’s but it did have the same effect of building up the good bacteria.  
 

Cyano , dinoflagellates and pest algae’s are  often a sign that you do not have enough good healthy bacteria in your system.  Using Chemi clean is like using an antibiotic . Sure you will kill off the harmful bacteria but you also kill off the good bacteria. I had an issue with cyano with my new tank and added the rock rubble and within a week the problem was gone. 
 

Eli is a humble guy with a big brain. His talk is excellent and highly informative.  My only complaint is that Rock Rubble sells out quickly . It’s actually out of stock now.

these accounts use DM to get around the minimum posting requirement to access posting to classified sections on boards, but that is how you attack the spam issue - just change the threshold to send a DM.

@SuncrestReef @TheClark @Chief is there to block new members from sending a DM until they get to a certain post count ?

I looked and they are already flagged as a spammer. 

Can you tell me who the member is so I can block them

You are correct it doesn’t say tickets are ten dollars at the  door on the site and it should.  I don’t know why it does . My guess is just an oversight as they do so many of these. I didn’t realize tickets were double the day of the show either which is why I made this post.  Steve Tyree runs the Coral Farmers Market and he just posted on Facebook that they were ten dollars at the door a few days ago. As far as tickets they keep a list at the entrance and you just say your name.

There’s a breeder in the Seattle area and interestingly the black and white clownfish from the same clutch of fish were the most aggressive.  Unless the orange and white becomes more submissive you sometimes just need to remove one of the fish and try to pair it with a smaller clownfish. Rearranging the rock is worth a try .
