  1. I will throw my hat  :moneybag:into the high end category.  Here are my 2 frags:

First one is well over the 50 dollar minimum. It’s an OG bounce.  I had the ruler for the growout nearby so I used that as well. 😎

    It’s about 1cm in diameter.

Next is the top Sunkist bounce . This one I’m not sure if the going rate but I believe 50 is a fair asking price from what i have seen online.  It’s 3cm in diameter roughly.78FAD15E-67D1-4AD0-A94D-9FCCBC1C5E63.jpeg41FE3766-7328-4C3A-894F-926F9B1D7A1C.jpeg

Thank you @Emerald525! I’m excited to be apart of such a great group and be in my first grow out!

I agree . You have the right attitude 😃. This is meant to be fun and for bragging rights and sometimes you learn something too.  Really if you just remember to take a picture every month for 6 months you have a shot at winning. Now sit back and watch my 25 lagoon dominate 😉

One of the more creative posts. I wouldn’t call myself and sps master but your parameters look good to me. Nice use of the POP stand too. I haven’t gotten mine yet but those are 😎!

Successful Pickup day 1 for my place.  Thanks for the pickups everyone.

    Done:  @Brittany @Yourmedic @Gumby @mpfinnigan @Leonardomanzano

Thanks David and @reefrun for coordinating this. The most challenging part of these competitions is trying to arrange pickup.  You can just give me my POP stand at the Holiday party !

I'm OK with wild corals and fish being expensive, I think it makes people less willing to "Just try it and see if it lives".

I was reefing in the late 90's when Yellow Tangs where $25 and PBTs where $40 and I witnessed a lot of fish wasted because someone wanted to "Just try it and see if it lives".

I think & hope paying $180 for a PBT will cause folks to do more research and learning in an effort to not waste the life of a wild animal and $180.

    What do y'all think?

I second this opinion. While it’s nice to score a deal I am happy that there are more places like biota that have breeding programs.

I also agree the price helps cut down on the impulsive factor and I am always willing to pay more for a healthy fish.

As the saying goes , the most expensive fish is a dead fish.

    Supposed to be ready today.

@Emerald525 - Can you see if the stands are ready yet?   I'm at the coast until tomorrow/Sunday night, so could only go pick them up in the eve - or Monday.  Unless @reefrun you've got someone who can get them for you and drop them off.  Don't want you burning any covid-recovery energy on this.

For anyone who gets a frag from ReefRun this weekend, I'll have stands at my place (97229/west side of town) next weekend if you want them right away.   For anyone picking up a frag Next weekend from me, they'll come with the stand.

I will send a message to Harley from PNWMAS custom and Tami who works with him.

@islandVib3s I believe you live close to Harley at PNW custom. Are you able to pick up the POP stands as soon as I verify they are ready ?
