Thanks for the info. I hopefully have a deal in the works, but otherwise I will definitely look out for that. Running an LED dimmer works great until you really drop the volts, then the controller suddenly has a hard time figuring out it's settings.

Sorry, long day, no drinks as of yet, brain power on low... If you are running bare bottom, heavy sps, a 25 might be perfect. Otherwise it seems like overkill. Of course, I am but a newb, so my advice should be taken with a grain of synthetic salt mix.

On else mode, even at half power, it blows sand around, tries to rip the heads off my euphyllia, and creates waves that threaten to jump out of the tank. So yeah, a bit overpowered for my application:)

My WP25 is just too powerful for my tank, I have to reduce the voltage so low the controller starts acting up. It is only a couple months old, and when run at half to full power works perfectly. Anyone have a WP10 and looking to updgrade?

Thanks! After three months, my MH ballast won't fire it's original bulb, but it will fie a brand new Phoenix! Woohoo, I have joined the blue tank club:)
