  1. Is that the same milli you were selling frags of a few months back? It is still trying to decide what colors to change to under my lighting.
  2. I can try to catch you some, they are all over the place now.
  3. Here is a better picture now that these have colored up and grown in. The polyps are very small, along the lines of Eagle Eyes size.
  4. Here we go, official first update: Paly originally had 2+ a baby. Baby was reabsorbed, and now there are 2 new polyps, for a total of 4. Zoa originally had eight, now up to 14! [smacktalk] Unfortunately, I won't be able to pick up my prizes at the next meeting, but I'll be happy to swing by and accept them some other time;)[/smacktalk]
  5. New polyps are starting to pop out fast... It looks like I'm in this thing!
  6. Still no edit feature, eh? I guess my final shot gets a post all it's own:) Top down of paly frag:
  7. What are the green polyps? Are they a morph, or are they hitchhikers? They are super cool.
  8. Here we go: Paly, 2 heads+1 tiny one that has yet to open. Not sure if this counts as 2, 2.5 or 3. My polyps have gold/orange skirts with a ton of gold flecks. They were a bit smaller than the others I saw as well. I think they are gorgeous. Still trying for a good top down. Zoa: 8 heads. I'm really excited to see how fast this one will grow, seems really robust so far! Tank specs: 30 cube with 15 gallon sump Filtration is an E-Shoppes skimmer+sock filter. GFO and carbon sit in bags in the HOB overflow, and it works amazingly well actually. Water Movement via 2x Jebao wp10 Lighting is 250watt DE Phoenix 14k. Metal Halides (on a small tank) still rule Dosing is 2 part and vinegar via Jebao DP4 dosing pump Tank is fed unstrained LRS and/or mysis 5 days a week
  9. What about montipora setosa? Growth tips are pink with pink/orange body.
  10. Ugh. They were lucky just to lose a coral. I've seen a similar situation cause a fire. Luckily it was caught immediately! Salt creeping onto the thin wires of a light fixture=bad news.
  11. I love my new $3 top down viewer I just made:)
  12. Where are you located? I might be interested in a $5-15 piece if you are close.
  13. I'm a bit bummed, I tried and failed to make it early enough to say hi to anyone, and had to jet as soon as I got the grow out frags. I would have loved to have stayed for the remainder of the event, but it just wasn't in the cards.
  14. I will also be happy to pick up frags and store them in my tank if anyone needs me to. I'm just on the Portland side of the Columbia, off of 205. You will need to be able to pick up during normal work hours though.
  15. I have a major time crunch on Sunday, but I might be able to swing by the meeting. I probably won't be able to stay for Bob Fenner though:(
  16. My SPS are doing that crazy thing where they get progressively bigger with better coloration:) FTS for future reference, can't wait to see the difference a couple more months will make!
  17. Looking good! Are there multiple morphs of the LE on that rock, or do my eyes deceive? Btw, I definitely want in, in case you still have me down as a maybe. Sorry if I forgot to update that.
  18. Good to know. I'll keep my eye on him, and if he ever gets too grumpy, I'll try to find a nice big tang filled tank to move him to so he can fight to his hearts content. For now though, he is a model citizen. He typically only shows aggression towards people who don't feed him, and who can blame him for that?
  19. I am hoping to add another critter or two to my tank, and need some recommendations. The main criteria are compatibility with existing livestock, and the ability to thrive being fed only once a day, and not at all on weekends. If at all possible, I would like a fish that swims in the open water and has a distinctly different look than what I have, but those are secondary concerns. Tank info: 30 cube (20x20x18) 15 gallon sump Approx water volume of system 30-35 gallons Tank is set up for mixed reef, SPS, LPS and zoas with water params suitable for acros No refugium and consequently very few pods Tank is fed heavily once a day on weekdays Current critters: Black Ocellaris clown, Azure Damsel, Tail Spot Blenny, Skunk cleaner shrimp, dwarf hermits, Nassarius snail and assorted hitch hiker clean up crew. Some fish ideas: Another clown? Wrasse, possum or flasher. I love these guys but am concerned they wouldn't do well with my feeding schedule. Firefish. While my current fish are quite peaceful with each other, I have been warned a firefish may still be too timid. Chalk bass or other basslet. My best bet? Dwarf angel. Too risky with LPS? Goby of some sort, neon blue or court jester perhaps? Filefish? Yellow Stripe Cardinal? Something else? Inverts: Tuxedo Urchin More Shrimp Emerald or Acro crab Starfish? Conch? What do you guys say, is there something on the list that would be a good fit? Am I already at capacity?
