I have a used gen-x pcx 30 external pump. The pump was starting to get noisy so I replaced it. After I took it out I found all it needed was to be cleaned. So now I have a good clean gen-x 30 pump for sale. 30.00 DOLLARS

the one i have is ajustable 18-36 inch it has a rubber bulb and can reach everwere in my 180 I bought mine at waves. I am sure that some LFS will have one. I will take a look to see if it has a brand name on it. OK I just check its made by KENT

mine has a 4 inch sand and gravel bar. had a big hollow rock that I layed on its side and filled the hole. put corals on the exposed rock and the center is all his.

Yes they are. they were one of the 5 things that live after I blow my back out and was not able to take care of my tank. But now after the operation in Dec. I am able to. so I am working on it and restocking more every week. I read that your tank crash and you lost some of your corals. I was sorry to here and see that. your tank was one of the best and will be again. just ordered some more corals from LA. reefs last night pick up a fighting Irish acan, O.S.U. zoa's, fried egg zoas and others. man I love those zoa's. with all the help from club members with the corals I am just about out of room in my 180 but that ok I went out and bought a 4x3frag tank and will pick it up this week. yep'eeeee now I can buy more corals. Chuck the coral nut.

I would buy the led blue high output lights off of ebay. it comes with 2 light sticks 18 long with power packs for under 40 dollars free shipping. then glue each one to the back of your reflectors could double as a moon light at night.

I run one bathroom style air intake located in the center of my light hood. The hood is enclosed and draws air from the sump area up through the main tank. it pulls the heat that the 2x400 mh, T5 and the sho. produce. The air is vented through a 5 inch alum flex pipe and runs into a exh. fan that I install through the extearior wall of the house to the out doors. I have it wired and plug into the light timer so when the lights come on so does the fan. the tank stays right at 80.0-80.4 deg. no need to buy a 1000.00 dollar cooler and then pay the higher ele bill. My system runs great and is super quiet also it only draws 18 watts. and cost me about 50 dollars ai home depo. over 3 years with no problems.. The only thing I want a cooler for is my beer.

Does any one heard of using a sodium for growing corals. They say its closer to the sun then any other lights out there for growing plants. Is this also the same for corals.

I was looking for tube worms did not see any. kind of like feather dusters. But the head is red to blue I have seen some purple one to. last time I saw some I was fishing on a pier on the oregon coast. your aquarium is bad to the bone.

mine heads for bed befor the lights go out and up at dawn. But some times I dont see him for a couple of days. I hate it when he does that. hope that yours is ok

I think that the only thing I can add here is if the alge is so thick that it is over grown and you have some dieing off. then reach in and pull the dead out. you always want room for new growth.
