  1. Revive has done me well so far...it is all I have used.
  2. I agree on the Phoenix 14k - Had one before and loved it and will replace the lamp in my new fixture with one soon.
  3. I had these in the nano and could NOT control them....tried all kinds of things. What worked for me was to take the rock out for good
  4. I run the two little fishes reactor and it works just fine. I run Bulk Reef Supply GFO in it.
  5. Calvin, Congratulations. You will love being a Father, it is so very rewarding!
  6. One of the first things I bought in this hobby was an RO/DI system. How can we be guarenteed that our tap water is always within the correct parameters for our tanks? For me I like to start with pure water, that way if it ever gets messed up I have no one to blame but myself One more potential issue eliminated in my mind. **ERIC - our water tests out at 31, at least mine does and I'm only a few miles down farmington road from you, so it is pretty low here.

    colors

snowpunk, you nailed it I think it is a rainbow acan - and it is from Tim. This is under 250Wmh - about 14" depth. Supplimented with two t5 HO actinics. The MH bulb is the stock Hamilton one that came with the hood. Can't wait to get a good Phoenix 14k soon.

This is one of my favorite corals righ now - I love the colors! I just forget the name. ha ha ha DOH!
  9. I did some trimming the other day and have about a 3" multi-branched frag of what is called "Ice blu Acropora". I need it gone. Come get it and if you have something to trade that would be wonderful. thanks Mark
  10. I've always got about 25-30 gallons of RO made up so let me know if you want some. I'm not far away at all from you.
  11. I run my heater from my Reefkeeper Elite controller - if things do heat up too much it will send me alerts via email.
  12. 100% worth it, even when I had a 14g nano. After a few trips to buy water I bought my ro/di unit and it was a time saver. Besides, it is easier to do a water change when you have water made up and ready!
  13. I have about 70gallon total water (assumption) - I change 10 gallons about every week but I also have a skimmer and run a filter sock as well.
  14. Thru my development licensing with Microsoft I have been running the windows 7 Mfg release since August and LOVE It so far.
  15. Do you have access to a generator?
  16. I run from 77.3 to 78.4. I find that with the chiller, heater and my controller things stay very stable. I MAY need to get a larger heater as the winter comes around.
  17. I use a filter sock. I can't imagine what the tank would look like if I did not use one - I change once a week and it is nasty dirty.
  18. I won an I-touch last year and love it! Thinking about getting the I-phone actually....
  19. I'm looking for a new PC4 (powerstrip) for my Reefkeeper Elite - do any of you guys carry them? Digital Aquatics part number RKM-PC4 Thanks.
  20. I use the Tom aqualifter - great little pump! I picked mine up from waves at a GREAT price. You may want to check with Joel to see if he has any left.
  21. I run the CL280 on my 60g cube and it rocks. Good price for this Chiller guys!
  22. I'm second in line for the lawnmower if El backs out! what corals do you have left?
