could be any number of things. I for one make sure my Sys admins run backups starting at about midnight....it will slow the servers down but should not cause many timeouts (sometimes requests to the sql servers will time out). I'm guessing it is nightly maintenance.

Very cool...DigitalAquatics recently released the add-on module for my RKE that does salinity as well...I can chart it and everything (If I get it).

I still have them and can see them.....they just wanted to go hang out with my bam-bams.

I give westside Aquarium a big thumbs up. Nice shop with VERY clean tanks and great prices..heck...all livestock was 20% off today. It was good to see a lot of people in there supporting a new LFS, and I couldn't resist a small Yellow Tang for my tank. I will certainly be back, you guys should check it out. I started off with just a few orage rics - but they have gone nuts in my tank I think I'm up to 11 now...

I use my TDS to test my RO system frequently. I just changed out my filters even though my TDS was still reading 0. My flow is much better now

105 here in Beaverton right now. ouch! We have AC units running and the house stays fairly cool. we blew a circut yesterday and the main AC stopped for an hour or two before we caught it and my chiller did run for a few hours. Today the chiller has not turned on and temps are looking good.

I have some from you that have done great....You had a few frags and I took the lesser looking ones as I wanted a challenge. They have done great. I will try to get a picture tonight for ya! I started with about 8 polyps and up to probably about 50 now. Yellow center...steel blue-ish innner and green skirts.

I kid you not! I watched my sixline bolt to the top of the tank and take a ladybug from the water surface...then proceed to smash it on a rock and eat the guts. It was insanely funny! He actually used the rock to help smash the shell open.

I agree - famous Dave's is the best BBQ joint I have been to. Went there the other week and will return soon also. Ask them for the scratch-off coupon...you have to wait until your next visit to scratch it and use it but you get a discount.

I make up RO/DI water once a week and like Dennis, have a 32 gallon rubbermaid trash can on wheels (with a lid even) Works out great and I always have fresh water on hand for top off or for any emergency water changes that need to be done. I don't think I'd even attempt to keep a reef without at least an RO system.

They fell about 1.5" below the frag...so I am still counting them in the comp. they are amongst my bam-bam zoanthids and doing fine. I will try and get a picture. *edit* in the pictures above you can see the two that fell into the orange bam-bams.

mine is coming strait out of the fawcet in the laundry room...no extra pumps or anything. I'm lucky to have great water pressure.

OK, I now have a 6th polyp that opened today - very tiny but no doubt #6

I run both ro and di. I don't trust the water company to NOT change anything...so I take all precations. Just changed all filters but the membrane and I am getting about 85 gpd thru my RO (rated at 100 gpd).

Give me a few weeks...I need to position some rocks so the current runners can connect. HOPEFULLY a few weeks and I should have a few frags. If not I can chisle some from my reef. I'll keep you guys posted and get a few more pictures soon (well, hopefully my dear wife will take those pictures for me).

Nice looking SPS I'm heading up to LaPine soon....how far is redmond from Bend / LaPine? I may have to go visit Oasis!
