  1. Yeah thats true. Which is what I did when a few drops came down on my way home. I just ordered a power antenna to get rid of that unsightly one sticking out on the 1/4panel.
  2. So I got a 40 Breeder from Gradth, came with a stand, and a sump. Great deal I say, for the price. Im going to be setting it up as a "nem" tank. Here are the first few pictures. Who would have thought I would find a way to combine both my hobbies. My 1995 Z28 Convertible loaded down with a 40B. Couldnt get it in with the top on. Couldnt close the top with tank in. Thankfully it wasn't raining, though it started on my way home. Here it is unloaded from my car, and put approximately where it will go. Needs a few very minor plumbing parts and its ready to go. I have a pump coming Tuesday, and should be running by Tuesday night. Not sure what light I am going to use with it yet.
  3. Cephalopods like Squids and Octopi dont live long in the wild. The average life span of Squid who dont get predated on is about a year. Giant Pacific Octopus's live the longest an average of 4 to 6 years. Its not captivity that shortens their lifespan, its generations of adapting to their environment.
  4. Im looking to buy about 5lbs of rock. I just want to use it to "seed" bacteria in my tank. Would prefer something with lots of surface area, but not being picky. Doran
  5. Well I think we should all give him positive on this one. Just to get even. I know I did.

Ok hard to tell from that pic. Its probable a LMB then, or perhaps the baby blue whale mentioned earlier. (nutty)

Rick looks like a starry Blenny. Closely related to the Algae Blenny. If it is mostly a uniform color with a few tiny spots its probably a Starry Blenny.
  13. Can you be more specific? Genus and species, or perhaps a photo or link to one.
