  1. Haven't found what Im looking for at an LFS. Thats the only reason I am.
  2. Mods - I wasn't sure where to put this so feel free to move it. Im going to be buying some fish from LiveAquaria.com in the next couple weeks. Im not going to be reaching the amount needed for free shipping, $225. So Im wondering if anyone would like to join in with this. Feel free to post here or PM me. Thanks.
  3. All I know is that this makes absolutely no noise.
  4. It would also appear they have gone out of buisness according to BBB
  5. Do you have a Blonde Naso, Naso literatus ?
  6. Well from what I can find quickly online. Males and females can both get streamers, though females usually dont. Also the coloration of the banding between the "tangs" on the caudle peduncles are different. Though I dont what color is which gender.
  7. As promised a pic. 3X250GPH powerheads 500GPH pump light has 250Wmh and t5 actinic. heater will be moved to sump before anything inhabits the tank.
  8. http://www.pnwmas.org/forums/showthread.php?24939-Reeflo-Barracuda-pump&p=242411&highlight=#post242411 You better get that before I get paid. LOL
  9. Well the pump is 500GPH but I estimated the flow on a curve for the headloss due to height. I did the math, and its closer to 425. I have another powerhead Ill put in there too. Its so quiet. Love the drain system that gradth had in it.
  10. All set up except light. Pics coming tomorrow. I have two 250GPH powerheads and about 300GPH going through sump. Enough flow?
  11. Awesome, thanks Diverdown
  12. Enough to cover a 40B in one or two pieces. I know that Lowes and Home Depot have it. But Id rather give my money to a club member or sponsor first.
  13. Ok. I have everything now. If I could just get one of the bulkhead fittings to stop leaking. LOL
  14. Can you get a better picture of the maxi-mini?
  15. Id be interested in the 40 if it was closer.
  16. If it will fit in its mouth, and its close enough it can catch it, it will eat it. I have no idea about the prepared foods. But my gut tells me that generally they probably wouldnt be attracted to the prepared foods.
  17. Thanks for the wonderful clowns.
  18. Ok Im officially excited. My pump and powerheads will be here on Tuesday. My MH light should be here by next weekend. Of course Ill send pics as I get it completed. Im getting a 500GPH pump for in the sump, and a couple 250GPH powerheads designed to be nem proof.
  19. Thats great. I just hate when people learn the hard way. There is always a learning curve between the book, and the tank, but its always best to minimize it.
  20. Before the Cephalopod police get here, I just want to make sure you know a few things about Cuttlefish. Their expected live expectancy in the wild is 1 year. So you may see a bit longer in captivity. Most Cephalopods die after spawning. There are a few exceptions, but these aren't one of them. Finally, Cephalopods are very smart, some even being able to solve and remember the solution to problems that have several steps. Thankfully Cuttlefish aren't Octopi, so you dont have to worry about them climbing out of the tank because the bundle of cords looks like a nicer home then the tank.
  21. Thanks. Gotta blame Jason7504 for getting me into Camaros.
