  1. I just wanted everyone on the boards to know how thankful I am for everything everyone has helped me with in the past year and a half since I moved up to Beaverton from Eugene. When my tank crashed a couple of months ago I was really bummed and wanted to just throw in the towel. Thanks to everyone for the words of wisdom, words of encouragement and general help over all. I'm gonna make it a point to meet more of you face to face and attend a lot more events ( Especially after missing CFM again!) Big thanks to Frank especially(rock2) Frank was down to trade corals with me, BS with me, help me build custom protein skimmers even when I had a horrible design (laugh) store all my livestock when my tank crashed, and the list goes on. Thanks Frank, you rock(rock2) ( I'll hit u up on my cell sometime, you gotta come see the tank now ) Big thanks to Steve ( Smann), Steve has been super cool, hooking me up with frags. Even when I killed em all the first time when my tank crashed, and again to start my tank over. Thanks Steve(rock2) Thank to Cyenna for hooking me up with the sweet setup for my new system ( Pics will be up soon I promise) Thanks to everyone who jumped when ever I posted up any need for advice, equipment, livestock, anything. ( JManrow, R-3, TankIt, H20cooled) Thanks to our LFS's, particularly WAVES and UPSCALES for letting me browse stuff on my way home from work, and occasionally buying something Thanks to everyone I've exchanged frags with over the past year, and if your zoas I traded you have grown out enough to frag me back a polyp or two lemme know, the new tank could use the help Over all, thanks to the (P)(N)(W)(M)(A)(S) (rock2)(clap) I'll have pics of the new tank up soon, and hopefully I'll be posting for frag trades again soon as well(clap)
  2. Yeah I've decided to go with the cc stars and rotate through about 5, taking a limb every 3-4 days. If I can get an insane amount of asterinas reproducing in my sump I may try feeding her some of them. My pair I had a while back would eat a nice sized ball of aterinas wadded together twice a week.
  3. I managed to get a few from waves yesterday when I was picking up cc stars, hopefully the harlequin will take her time eating those guys so that the asterinas can multiply.
  4. Maybe my friend Mr Washington can convince some one?(whistle)
  5. I have a few in my tank already but was wondering if anybody out there has some to get rid of? I'm gonna throw em down in my sump to reproduce as a supplement to chocolate chip stars for my new harlequin. I work in Lake Oswego and live in Beaverton off of Scholls and Murray, so if your anywhere in between there I can stop by on my way home from work and take em off your hands On another note, anybody know who has the best deals on starfish feeders theses days?
  6. Thanks for the Harlequin, thats the biggest fattest one I've ever seen I'll see if I can convince the boss that I need more coral frags by next week (wife) lol
  7. Well I can check the Yashia off my list, thanks to Travis at Upscales
  8. If your gonna be around tonight I'd love to come pickup that harlequin from you
  9. If you can hold that goby for me until the end of today I'll take him (clap) I'm off at 6:15
  10. Scored a 36 inch relflector from a guy on craigslist with PC clips in it for $10, just had to cut it down to size(clap)
  11. I heard you have some Yashia gobies in stock right now, how much are they going for?
  12. I already had one 70watt setup, so it was cheaper to get another 70w ballast and 70w bulb than it was to get a 150 ballast and bulb. But I probably will upgrade to a single 150w after a while.
  13. I agree about the 70w halide. I'm going to be running dual 70 watters on my 15gallon tank along with 2 24 watt PC's for supplimental actinic. I guess it depends on how you want the tank to look. It you have a canopy to mount the lights and fans in I say do it. You can get build yourself a retro fit kit for just under $80 pretty easily with the 70 watters.
  14. I vote for any of these gobies(clap) http://www.pnwmas.org/forums/showthread.php?t=8267 But I have to agree that a Yasha Goby and shrimp combo was my favorite in my old nano.
  15. Looking for some really neat really small gobies for my 15gallon. Anyone know anyplace locally that has these? How much they are if they do have em? Gold Neon Eviota Goby Greenbanded Goby Red Head Goby Red Striped Goby Yellow Stripe Clingfish
  16. I'd be interested in some of the rock and macros, maybe some babies? Shoot me a PM with a time and place I can take a look
  17. I need a 24 inch reflector for a retro fit I'm doing. Can be out of anything, just need some decent polished aluminum. Anybody got some broken light fixtures laying around?
  18. **** Nevermind, I ended up buying a new one from Ballastwise.com********
  19. Put me on the " throw away list" then (laugh)
  20. Well I'm upgrading my current tank setup and am doing my own retro fit for halides. I was curious if anyone knew of a good place to get thin polished aluminum for a reflector? I'm gonna end up needing a piece about 24inches by 16 inches.
  21. Best deal I found on the ballast was at here:http://ballastwise.com/item.asp?PID=112&FID=1&level=0 The Bulbs I've found all over Ebay, cheapest is $25 shipped. Wiring and end sockets are cannibalized from a home depot light fixture that costs about $10
