Well, the plan for the basement sump is out. Wife wasn't too thrilled. I have to sell my sump. It's dimensions are 72" x 24" x 24" made from 1/2" acrylic. I'm pretty sure it was one of the few sumps built by James @ Envision Acrylics. It is about 5 years old. There are 3 openings in the top, like most display tanks. There are 2 holes drilled into the return compartment. 1 is for a 1" bulkhead, the other is for a 1.5" bulkhead. If I can find the bulkheads I will include them. Can't take pics right now. If you want to see it, it is at Saltwater Fanta-seas across from the 4 foot cube tank. First one with $300 takes it. Would consider trades on a few items (lumenarc mini, Reeflo Dart, Eheim 1262, 250w HQI ballast) Thanks, Jon

Like I said in my original post, this should be about Rods food. Sorry Uhuru. There are a few people suggesting to try out something that is local. It may or may not be better than Rods, but it can't hurt to give it a try. You would also be supporting a site Sponsor. Nobody has claimed that it is better than rods, but it is good food.

Patricks food has EVERYTHING in it. Just about. I have helped make Pat's Gumbo, and no expense is spared. I don't think he charges enough for it, but I don't complain. But this is about Rods food. I haven't tried it. I'm not sure I would at $20 for 6oz. I'm sure it's great food though.

I voted Envision, although technically I'm still running my Oceanic 30. I brought home my 3' x 2' x 2' 90g yesterday. Trying to get it running by spring break. LOL Scott! You just downsized to a 30g from a 90g and I'm doing the opposite.

No pics yet, but I did get my air meter and kill-a-watt. I'm pretty happy with my results. Stock, The Sedra 3500 pulls 420LPH. My modified 3500 is pulling 480-540LPH with the stock needle wheel. The ball on my meter bounces from 8-10 LPM but most of the time it's at around 8.5 LPM. 27 watts. Hopefully I can get some pics up by this weekend.

Used ballast is fine. SW-fantaseas sells 400w bulbs for around $80 depending on which bulb you want. Personally I have run just about every MH bulb on the market, and I like the XM 20k.

I'll get some pics in here this week. I have 3 skimmers, ER 5-3, RS80, and an old 8-5(48" tall). My Air meter should be here wednesday. Uhuru, Is that the way the output came from ATB? Dang, you'd think they could do a cleaner job than that.
