Made a foam frag holder/backing for 155 Bowfront

Over yesterday afternoon ( started installing in morning) my ph dropped from 8.3 to 8.1 and alk dropped from 9 to 8 before lights off. This morning it raised slighlty 1 hour after lights on. No nitrates or phosphates, but Ive always had zero on any tank. Skimmer no different from what I see, comes and goes throughout the day Torch coral got seriously big this morning, biggest I have ever seen, maybe he thought he was being attacked by a giant purplish coral and was trying to "puff up" 30 hours later everything appears normal even after the major thrashing the tank took. -

It floats like Pamela Anderson When I designed it I made it so it would float up under the rim which keeps it from lifting, theres vents on the bottom of the overflows and I pushed a ziptie threw the hole and it came back out two holes over, I just poked it through the eggcrate and that keeps it from floating forward. Then the big heavy rocks also help but not needed. If I tied it all together it would float a person Im guessing -
I really never liked looking at overflows and flat glass that never seems to coraline up fast enough ( well the overflows do almost instantly) and I never really could get my frags up close to the top so I decided to kill 2 birds with 7 cans of Becketts Pond foam and 2 sheets of egg crate I found letting the foam ALMOST set completely up and then squeezing /pulling/pushing you can make any shape you want. Hopefully it gets coraline on it quickly to protect from UV, the color is a really weird Purplish/bluish/silvery black in real life so as it coralines up it may take on an interesting look, zillions of places for frags now

The most you have spent for a living item in your tank?

If you wouldnt have kept her in a reef tank, it may not have died -
No problem, small investment to be a part of such a great group of peeps. I wish I could have sent the donation via a really smoking hot Victorias Secrets model dressed in Christmas attire which was my plan but.............the closest thing I could find on an I-5 off ramp was R-3. Thanks R-3 for the delivery and the corals!

Do you still have the clam? Most impressive if the answer is yes -

Hey Mark you can overnight my Christmas Gift certificate so I can head to Garretts and spend it before Christmas? Yes Garretts is the perfect setup with outstanding looking livestock, great guy! I plan on visiting often! -
I think I would have to have an established tank for a minimum of 2 years without a single death to spend $600 on a large frag

I have a little bit of a dilema and need to find out some phone line issues where we used to have a Horse arena and guesthouse location that we tore down and there phone lines just laying there and we want to "extend" one of these 200' but neeed to figure out which one to splice into, one of them was really static filled before and not sure the other one even works. Id pay you to come and figure it out for me, Il do the splice and all that , I just want to grab the best line. Id call the phone company but they just show up,, its all automated and you dont know what day or time they come and I have to show them the locations. Theyve never fixed anything previously either, they appear to be melon heads.

Actually I think the "illegality" of it was overlooked for die hard Home theater geeks like me that had HTPC ( home theater PCs) You would rip all your movies to a server and Use Cinemars Mainlobby, or CQC ( charmed quark) or Media Center , or Meedio or..........something to arrange all your movies into a menu and just click and play. Down at the bottom is sort of a demonstration of what you see on a touch screen http://www.charmedquark.com/ ( give it a few seconds to load flash player for examples) So basically your guest show up, youre upstairs fixin drink and say who wants to watch a flick? Everyone says ME ME ME, and you ask which one and point to the 10" touch screen, hit "Movies" and they pick, you even let them click the touchscreen. As you head down to the theater "The Macro" takes effect, turns on projector, receiver and brings up the lights to a preselected dimmed rate and starts preselected music for a couple songs, after 5-6 minutes the lights dim to the music and the movie starts WITHOUT ALL THE GARBAGE they pack infront of them, Blueray is the WORST offender of garbage up front, one of the studios plays like 2 or 3 different BluRay commercials that are telling you how fantastic BluRay is and you already know this because you're watching Bluray. Unbelievable..... And Sony winning the HD wars.......uhhhggg, Ive noticed the discs have alreay cheapened up considerably, you can actually look through them like glass, Im not wondering if this is whats causing my mini dumps

After thinking about it I wonder if I associated it with Theatertek somehow in the old days when I ran a server. Can you still use DScaler and FFDShow to scale out the Black bars and put full resolution on a scope screen? Or do you have to have an anamorphic lens and a standalone scaler?

Yeah I have Cyberlink PowerDvd ultra, but still cant figure out how to play or even find the playable file, it used to be just click on the ISO file and off it went

Mark I gave all mine to Garrett, didnt want to kill it dosing vodka -
I DLed AnyDVDHD about a week ago after I installed Windows7 and I started getting mini-dumps while playing Blurays via HTPC. I cant for the life of me figure out how to get the video to play though, I used to use AnyDVD for years when I had 720P projectors but I havent watched a standard DVD since I bought a 1080P projector. 40 gig a movie seems a little harsh but those minidumps are pissin me off a lil and not all are streaming the audio to my D-Box motion controller which is why I wanted to try AnyDVD again. So far the mini dumps that crash windows have been on Public Enemy, The Hangover and Terminator 4. Inglorious Basterds played fine but didnt stream the audio to the D-Box. Im sortof wishing I had stuck with Vista, never had a glitch.........ever

Not sure, I saw it at the Lancaster Mall Theater in Salem and was blown away at how amazing the 3-D was, the Planet looks almost Reefish at night.
-
Wow just wow, James Cameron pulls off another mind blowing special effects extravaganza. Make sure you see the 3-D version, you will be blown away. The story is lacking but 2-1/2 hours of eye candy makes up for the shortcomings

This looks to be TV only, didnt notice it being in the form of a projector yet.

I dont think you can, it would be nice if you could. Not sure what water system you are on or where they get the water but down here in the boonies we had an algae outbreak in our water supply which is sort of city water pumped around a portion of the Willamette Valley between Amity, Sheridan, Dallas, The stuff was pretty aggressive on toilets and such where you could physically see it in the tanks and the water was actually warm for 6 months. The guy from Perrydale Water ( thats what its called because thats where the main pumps are) said that it wasnt localized to this water system but a large part of NW Oregon. Im having the same troubles as you, mine actually runs as advertised and rapidly slows throughout the month, within a month Im making 20 gal a day on a 100 gal per day system
