  1. Sounds like everythings gone!! Thanks guys it was a pleasure meeting several of you!!! YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. Thx Mark, see ya all in Fiji, no worries, be happy! ( thats sort of Jaimaca but it works!)
  2. As far as Prices go, most stuff under $35, the really big nice stuff $35 smaller $20, I doubt Ive paid under $50 (fish) and more for corals, most came from Jason at coral Reef, a couple things from Upscales and Waves. Live rock is about 15 years old in tank enviornment
  3. Also a very established refugium,( Not the sump but contents) I built it, doubt anyone would want my setup but the goodies inside have a zillion copis for food for the tank, as well as the other stuff
  4. Mushrooms Galore and the Big Singuliaria ( sp?) Is suprisinglystill available too, had him over a year, he canges from brilliant bluish whight to almost a rainbow color depending on light and size, he can stretch to almost 1' tall when happy
  5. Ok last chance, Plenty of Live rock, a couple pieces are unique and shapes you just dont find anywhere. For the person in Bend, I tried heres some pics with a horrible camera, sorry about glare and focus. Regardless its gotta go in a couple days. The little guy to the left, pinkish orange and Lager than a Golfball, maybe 2 golf balls Bigger than a softball, also have several others slightly smaller with purple centers and more of a darker green Bigger than Golfball and litttle chunks scattered about on rock, infact all rock has lil creatures and sponges Bigger than golf balls probably 1-1/2 golfballs Probably 7-8 inches And This guy, been around for months, hearty and friendly, slower sifting gobie, always out front and very colorful with purples and such Also Great Blue and yellow Tangs, extremelly healthy and went though the ick thing when I bought them, they fought it off twice and it never returned since almost a year ago A vey nice active Lawnmower blenny, everyone needs one! Hes a fatty Cleaner wrasse, 5 Chromies, Blue starfish tons of Zena and Chuck can help me with what the green and pink stuff is called that I have tons of, looks like Bright green Grass, also have tons in purple
  6. Also if youre coming, it would be nice if you bring a cooler for Live rock, or if you have extra bags, bring them , Im out, down to ziplock sandwich. Ill make it to salem later and get some, but if you have some, bring them !
  7. For those asking , he can get as big as a diner plate, hes not a mover in my tank
  8. Fiji is still pretty uncivilized outside of the big citys which there are only a couple. Their political system is also a little uneasy these days, the guy that owns the biggest gun wins. The guy I work for enjoys Luxury so supplies will be plentiful. Im more worried about Box Jelly stings and eating the wrong fish, considering thats the main diet. Knowing him, we will have decent supplies.
  9. Ok Its going to have to be first come first serve, I have 5 days this week and 5 dayss 2 weeks from now. If you want to come over PM for Phone # Being overwhelmed with PMs
  10. Ok guys, and gals. I bought an underwater Olympus to try out to actually take to Fiji, Im still learning so dont expect much, I just stuck it in the tank and started clicking, I will update as I get better ones
  11. You name it we design and build it, Personal resorts. Homes, Docks , Airplane hangers, roads, Float plane dollies, Bridges, Aviaries......etc, etc
  12. Im near Dallas, 10 minutes west of Salem, 10 minutes North of Dallas, 10 minutes south of Amity, 20 minutes south of McMinnville. All the live rock and corals will have to be gone to catch fish and even then the Foxface will be a hard catch. The live rock is spectacular, several pieces are very unique shaped.
  13. Ok guys Ive got the PMs in order , let me take some pics, still cant find my digital Camera battery charger, Ill just go buy a cheapy today and start snapping, The Mystery Wrasse is certainly gone and yes I have several hundred pounds of live rock, alot with sponges and different stuff, so far no Mantis or any preditor I know of, Have'nt lost a fish in over 6 months.
  14. The filter would be the hardest part, I dont want to kill stuff by having it sucked up against a Filter, The parasite thing is probably un avoidable since my stock will be coming from the same place as my water, it may have to be a reversal method, most dip coming into their tanks, I may have to dip going back to the ocean. The guy I work for bought 4 islands over there, I do all his design/build
  15. I have a 155 bow front stuffed with Coral and Fish, I cant find the charger for my digital camera but will take pics tonight if possible, I checking into shipping the tank, Chiller and lighting to Fiji but if its too costly Ill just buy in New Zealand and ship Too much to list, Ill take pics Fish are all healthy as can be Hawkfish, Mystery Wrasse, Blue, Yellow Tang, Cleaner wrasse, Blue Chromies, Lawnmower blenny, The neat Black gobies that sift slowley, Copperband, Foxface, Clown and spectacular anenome, cool crabs. Tons of corals, some stonies need urgent moving since the wifes been taking care of the tank the last several months
  16. As the topic says, Im moving to Fiji in three weeks, I plan on building about as big of tank as possible in My home. My home is very close to the beach and Im wondering if you could pump the ocean water into the tank and have it overflow back into the ocean. The water there is pristine and this should save me the trouble of all this stuff we do trying to simulate actual ocean water. Also I was wondering if anyone knows Tank builders that build Big, Massive tanks and ship them in pieces to be installed elsewhere? I will also be selling a 155 Bowfront and all inhabitants (if shipping to Fiji is outrageous as I gather it is) as soon as I can Find my Digital Camera to take pics. I am Near Dallas Oregon, Pm me if anyone is interested, I have alot of unique stuff and some of the Stonies need a new home imeadiatly, some free to good home since they are seeming not so well from wifes care while gone over last 6 months
  17. If you want any shrimp forget this fish, he will eat them and test other crabs and hermits, My arrow crab defends itself against the Mystery Wrasse but the wrasse tried eating him at first. I had 60 hermits and no longer have any, I had 4 huge shrimps and he ate them too. I would make you a sweeeeet deal on the plumpest Mystery wrasse around if I could catch him. I want him gone and hes well beyond fat and thick. Pretty fish about 4.5" long but pretty agressive against new tank additions as well. The most timid fish as far as netting though, all my other fish will eat from my hands but I think the Mystery knows I want him gone this was him 6 months ago, hes really grown fast off his expensive diet
  18. I use a Kalkwasser reactor with my makeup water, I used to mix and drip and found it got old pretty fast
  19. Hills above Perrydale, find that one.
  20. Waves, you sell decent Magnesium test kits? All Jason had in Salem is one Red Sea Manesium kit. Im the guy who stopped and got the pipe organ and came back and grabbed that purple Monti. Ill be heading back through next Saturday or Sunday, get some cool stuff ready !!! Upscales had some really smoking hot looking pinkish purple coral in their first show tank, bottom left corner, you cant miss it, not sure what is was but I want some!!!!!
  21. I cant thank you enough Andy! I knew it was whacky compared to the Salifert in that it was how much you used instead of how much was left of regent C. Ouch my magnesium is clearly too high. Anybody know if 1350 ppm is too high, Im guessing yes since its off this chart
  22. Anybody have one of these, I can't find my instructions and the manual is in French on their site. Anybody know how much fluid should be left in the needle of the final test fluid after it turns from pink to blue? I thought 0 was really good and .01 was also good but .02 was getting worse and so on
  23. Hmm i dont see any eggs or slugs under the dying monti, I have lots of montis and its just the rapid growing red one that died and now this small purple one, under the little purple one there appears to be something but not white, sort of a tanish brown vine like thing but appears more vine than egg or slug. its very very small, can I turkey baster it? I have pretty large montis throughout the tank and noticing I have lots of small ones growing about everywhere from broken peices and the 10 or so different colored ones Ive bought frags of and none seem to be bothered, the red one died about 3 months ago and the little purple guy just started to turn white 3 days ago, hes about the size of a quarter and after 3 days half of him is white. The red one was over night and no other Monti has showed effect since then.
