Unknown ballast brand. Has on/off switch built in. With bulbs, but probably need to be replaced. (6-8mo. use) $80
  2. Looks really nice but +1 for the sailfin being way too big of a fish for that tank. He should have at least 4', if not 6' of space, so he can swim happily. Also, I'd HIGHLY suggest cutting back to only two clowns. Having four in there is just stressed/dead fish waiting to happen.
  3. Am breaking down my 125g right now. Sand is a bit dirty as I have removed most all rock. You can have as much as you want, for whatever price you think is fair. Call me 503-201-9031. North Protland, so I'm pretty close.

I barely ever check this so 503-201-9031. In NE Portland (112th/Burnside). Very busy so if you want something and will actualy buy it please call.
  5. +1 Kaspersky is one of the best out there. It has found things on my system that your mainstreams like AVG and Norton couldn't even touch.
  6. I have tapped thousands of holes in metal doors. Piano hinges are the worst. Anyway, if you pre drill the correct size hole there's no reason anything should crack as the tap will remove only the material that is where the threads will be. Just go really, really slow. Also, they make tap lube, but I don't know if its acrylic safe.
  7. Grats on the purchase. That was a steal. Im green with envy, unfortunately not so green with cash =P
  8. Ahh, yeah probably not. cant really justify the gas for the trip.
  9. Haha, no worries. Saktown I left you a voicemail. Also, what model is the tunze powerhead with the controller?
  10. Reefin' your inbox is full. Im not sure the brand of the ballast. Its got a black case with a on/off switch built in. The bulbs are 2x 50/50 Atinic/White, 1x 10k daylight, and 1x Super Atinic. I was not planning on comming to the meeting as I am in the middle of moving. However, where is it? I have actualy never attended a club meeting and would like to.
  11. Im interested in the last piece of rock, and possibly the controllable tunze. Call me 503-201-9031
  12. I have the following up for grabs. I will try and get pictures up this weekend. 400w industrial magnetic ballasts with large "ready grow" parabolic reflectors (I used these in my greenhouse). This is a retrofit kit, it is hardwired using 10 gauge outdoor wire. 2@ $80 each. 400w industrial grade magnetic ballast. 1@ $40 4x 48" VHO retrofit kit. Electronic ballast. Waterproof end caps. No reflectors. Bulbs have about 6 months use (at 4 hours a day). 1@ $100 Willing to trade for 250w electronic MH systems. Luminarc parabolic reflectors(or similar). Willing to take reasonable offers, but prices are semi firm. Feel free to respond here, or call at 503-201-9031
  13. Interested in sand/rock, possibly more. 503-201-9031. In school till 3pm tomorrow. Call me!
  14. Got any old base rock in a bucket tipped over in your garage? Any covered in dust in the attic? How about some so full of hair algea, your wife is afraid it may start walking around? If so, I WANT TO BUY IT! That's right, you can get cash for that nasty stuff! (sick) Look around, if you see any let me know. I'm looking for pieces of almost all sizes and types.
  15. Thank you for all of your input. I spoke to floridapets and they are currently not doing any sales of seagrasses because they moved out of Florida and don't have access. Pledosophy the macro in the lower right (green bladed looking) and the money tree in the middle I may be interested in. However one of the reasons that I am trying to stay away from macroalgea is because tangs love to eat it. However they dont mess with the grass too much from what I've read. Now I don't intend to have a school of tangs like I had before, but I like to keep at least one around to control any hair algear that may pop up. They have done very well at this in the past. Jmanrow - Again thanks for calling me. I will be reading the links you provided me. I found a local vendor for turtle grass, but we will see. I was trying to avoid this option because the blades were thicker than I had hoped for, and it recommends a 6" DSB which I'm not sure I want to tackle atm. 4" was already pushing it for me. I will do some more reading and thinking, and let you all know what I decide on. Thanks!
  16. I am looking for a local vendor or member that has, or can obtain Turtle, Shoal, and Manatee grass. If you are aware of one, or have had good experience with an online vendor in the past, PLEASE let me know! I would also be interested in other types of vascular marine plants.
  17. I have the following up for grabs. I MUST get rid of by Monday or it all goes to the nearest LFS for credit. All prices are obo, first come, first serve basis. I am in the middle of moving and don't know where my camera is. It doesn't take good pics anyway. Everything is pretty basic. Coral Beauty, healthy 2"-3". $25 Candy Cane colony, baseball size. $25 Giant fuzzy green mushroom, 6"+. $10 Green Frogspawn, 7+ mouths. $15 Green Mushroom Rock, baseball size. Covered. $15 Torch frag, 2 mouths. $5 40'ish lbs Fiji Rock. Established, some hair algea. $3/lb 60'ish lbs live sand. Free to whoever wants it.
  18. On monday(Dec 8) I am going to be transfering my tank to my new house, and downgrading from my 125g to a 30g pod =( I will have a bunch of very nice Fiji Live rock available. Variety of sizes. Most pieces in the 15lb range. Many pieces will have zoa's, sponges, mushrooms, and lots of coraline on them. Asking $4/lb. I will also have other livestock available, I just need to go through it. Let me know if your interested in rock, of if you need some live sand to start your tank =D
  19. Looking for a 20"-24" T5 fixture. Must be in good condition and have mounting leggs.
  20. I actualy got the tank from R3 like a year ago haha. Ill dig up a pic. Im in the middle of moving so I need this to move asap. Willing to accept pretty much any reasonable offers.
  21. I have an 125g Envision 2'x2'x4' tank. It is made out of 1/2" acrylic, with a black back and overflow. I have a stand and hood for the tank that could use some TLC but is functional. The tank is in overall good, but used condition. If I were to use it again I would probably polish it, but would not be a necessity. There are no deep gouges/scrapes. Just shallow ones common to any acrylic tanks general use. I am looking to TRADE this tank for a 29 gallon nanocube/aquapod with a 150w HQI. I would also be willing to sell the tank if given a fair offer. I was previously asking $500 but I would take $400 for it as it sits(retail is $2,000, tank only). I need to move this tank now. I would even be willing to deliver within a reasonable distance. I am currently moving and finals week is next week so I am extremely busy. Please feel free to call me with any questions or offers. 503-201-9031.
  22. I bet that if you wait 2-5 years the technology will be up to our specs. Id also bet the prices will be lower, as with all new developing technology.
  23. I was able to see this system in person and its amazing. You should put in a pic of that frag tank you had right behind the display when I was there. The one you got from work.
