  1. I was told they aren't evedn allowed to use meds to treat the fish that are diseased.part of petcos "green" policy. They see none of my dollars. Not even for the buck per gallon sales anymore
  2. why is all the cool stuff in portland? Nice corals!
  3. just some friendly advice.... I'd move that monti cap lower in the tank. If you leave it on top, it will eventually shade out everything under it. That stuff grows fast and gets huge. Tank looks great!
  4. Haven't touched it yet. It does retract(not fully, but suddenly and noticeably) when I hit it with the flashlight at night.
  5. I googled thorny oyster, and most of the pictures show the "thorns" coming from the shell. This has a smooth shell and the "thorns" coming from the mantle:confused: It's really cool looking, whatever it is. I was planning on getting rid of the xenia on the topside of the rock it's on, now I'm not so sure about doing that.
  6. I have never seen anything like this. Looks to me like some sort of bivalve. Just like to know exactly what it is, if possible. Thanks, Bobby
  7. Upgraded to a 6 bulb fixture over the weekend, so I'm selling the Current 4 x 39 watt HO t-5 fixture that came with my 40B. Comes with legs, and the fan was recently replaced. Works great! Nice shape. No bulbs included. SOLD
  8. No problem Thomas. It was nice to meet you. Hope the refugium keeps that mandarin nice and fat!
  9. I can't believe this isn't gone yet. I paid more than this for my 40B setup 3 weeks ago, and it was a smokin deal! Someone hurry up and buy this before I decide to take advantage of the fact my wife is out of town, and can't stop me(devil)
  10. I spoke to him a couple of weeks ago. He said he was working overnights, so his schedule is probably all screwy.
  11. Tank is sold. Coming to Salem(the Premium Aquarium) @ 11 am to drop off refugium and tank. if anyone is interested in any of the remaining items, let me know, and I'll bring em with.
  12. Thanks for the bump Mike. Refugium sold pending funds. Still have tank/stand, LEDs, skimmer, and found a nearly new condition Aqua clear 50 HOB filter in the garage too. I'll take $20 for the filter.
  13. I had it on an acrylic tank with 1.5 inches of brace to get over, so 1 inch would be no problem
  14. No room for a hang on back style? I have a cpr HOB style fuge for sale if you decide to go that route.
  15. Another member of the "Trent is a stand up guy club" here
  16. If you decide for sure, I could probably hold it. You do realize I'm another hour south of Salem? Just seems like a long trip for such a small amount. Although it would be ironic if it ended up in Kelso, as that is where I got it 3 days ago
  17. The two large flat pieces are approx. 8"x10" and 8"x8" I want $20 for everything pictured
  18. Just upgraded to a 40b setup. So some of the old setup and some extra stuff for sale. 25 gal truvue acrylic tank and oversize stand (couple extra inches front to back). Pretty good shape...tank back has some scratching, but front is pretty clear. $tank is sold, stand still available pic from a couple of days ago, before teardown Marineland Reef capable 36-48 inch LED light. Few months old, excellent shape. I was seeing excellent growth in my soft corals, and had a frogspawn doing very well under these. Sold CPR Aquafuge 2 (medium size) with marineland double bright LED fixture. Few months old, great shape. I would love to keep this and use it on my new tank, but the way the 40 is drilled and plumbed, it's not an option. Sold Seaclone skimmer with pump Sold LR and misc corals - SOLD
  19. I'm getting ready to transfer the contents of my 25 gal to the 40b setup I bought yesterday. The sand in the 40 will be rinsed thoroughly, but I'm wondering about the stuff in the 25gal. The tank has only been running for a month. There is visible life in it(worms, etc.) Do I go ahead and rinse it, and kill off what is in it? or will it be okay as is? I always rinse sand that has been used, but I'm not sure this time since it's only been in the tank a short time. Thanks, B
  20. Spit coffee when I read it! Funny stuff!
  21. Jeramy, Welcome to another highly addictive and expensive hobby(laugh) With little ones around, you might want to give the Gunvault safes a look. If my carry piece isn't on my person, it's in a gunvault multivault. It's not strong enough to keep a determined thief out for long, but it is more than enough to keep curious little hands away, and still allow you to get to your pistol in a couple of seconds if you need it. Now go shoot the heck out of that thing, so you are comfortable with it. If you are going to carry it, take a look at Crossbreed holsters. Handmade in the US, lifetime warranty, comfortable as heck, and they also have a blems/seconds website that you can sometimes save a few bucks. I have Crossbreeds for both of my carry pistols and will never buy anything else again. Warms my heart to see all the 2A friendly people out there(clap) And Hatcher2014....Thank you for your service!
