  1. That is really sad, too bad its part of the cycle on our reefs
  2. I've got tons of them, one is even about 4 inches across, they are awesome little guys, if you take a rock out and put it in a bucket without light they will all crawl out and be everywhere. I was moving some rock around the other day and counted 20 that came off a fist size rock
  3. I've heard they pick up growth after the first month, that the first month is just getting them developed and indepenant. I could be wrong, but thats just what I've heard My worry about the anemone isn't its sting at all, all my worries are in the mouth. It might not sting them, but its mouth is sure big enough to have an accident, I've seen striped mushrooms eat live chromis, and they don't have much sting to them.
  4. I can wait, maybe we'll be able to meet up sometime before then though, just PM me and let me know when you are free
  5. How much did you want for it? you didn't put a price up
  6. just put a sheet of aluminium foil over the whole thing, that will keep light from getting there
  7. I agree with you impur, but it does look good!
  8. all my majanos have been green or brown, they are really cute, but they are the devil that looks a little red to me, but be cautious about it anyway, and be carefull majanos are fast walkers
  9. Does anyone know anything about zoanthid pests? Not that I have anything yet, I just don't know anything about them and I just want to be prepared after my red bug issues last month. Thanks, ~adam
  10. oh here is a pic of the parent from mid feb.
  11. Glad to hear its doing well Vanz! Bluecheese and CCR, are you going to be at the meeting?
  12. someone wanted a frag of my bali xenia, I forget who, since I am now red bug free I can have it at the meeting for whoever it was
  13. bumble bee, are those the ones that look like a spider? or a scorpion without a stinger or head?
  14. 1/4 in a month sounds good to me, are you sure the anemone wont eat them though?
  15. I thought this was posted before? did it get deleted?
  16. how fast do they grow? they looks pretty good sized
  17. they are so cute, how many did you end up raising this far?
  18. lol, in the "open ocean" we can shoot down the sharks!
  19. (flame)I HATE GOLF TEES!!!(flame) If there is one bad habit I dislike in this hobby more than anything it would be golf tees (other frag plugs included) they drive me nuts, our goal is to make something natural, not put something natural on a peice of plastic, and they are soooo hard to sit in your rockwork in a stable way. I hate them more than tap water usage, I hate them more than hair algae out breaks, I even hate them more than red bugs and high ammonia readings. Sorry to make you listen to me venting. I'm (nutty)
  20. Oh, maybe it wasn't you, but someone posted a pic of a ric just like that and everyone picked it apart and pointed out the reasons why the picture was photoshopped. I guess that is just our way of telling you the beauty is unreal!
  21. It looks awesome... maybe you've had a little too much "liquid courage"... forgetting to measure the hallway ::tisk tisk::
  22. wow, why are we so angry about a post on basic grammar and common mistakes? Sorry people are so touchy. Thanks for the post Piero, it is a good read.
