  1. Well, bummer Bob! But I know you love your birds more now... I was just waiting for it to happen! Bring on the old Lowman! I've missed him! (laugh)
  2. Wh-wh-what! Boo hordies! (laugh) A couple weeks ago I went in with some fellow guildies to the blood elf starting area and caused mischief. I mostly took off all my gear and did the naughty-nekkid-night-elf-dance. Some of the hordies danced with us, so that was just a riot! All my toons are still on Shandris. Kalindis is a level 50 NE druid, Shamalaya is a level 21ish dranei shaman (who I am already pretty bored with) and Kylliana is a level 14ish dwarf priest. Kal is definitely my main character. I finally took her into the battlegrounds at lvl 49... did the capture the flag thing. Pretty fun! And yes, that's why I haven't been on here very much... I've been playing WoW! rofl Toodles!

    Zoos!!!

They are so pretty, Miles! I really want to get that cube up and running so I can get back into my zoanthid obsession! (clap) If I ply you with cash and scantily clad ladies, will you share? (laugh)
  4. Please relay your experiences with any fish store, good or bad, in this forum. Keep it civil, help one another out. Or I will come knocking at your front door with a baseball bat! (laugh)
  5. I'm not willing to go beyond that first step... because then I'd be forced to quit! (whistle)
  6. Hi, my name is Stacy. I'm a World of Warcraft addict. (laugh)
  7. Sorry I haven't been playing my toon on Gurubashi. I've been completely obsessed (yes, obsessed) with working on my level 30 druid Kalindis on Shandris. She rocks! (laugh)
  8. Dang it! I missed it! That's what I get for watching movies and spending time with Jay rather than playing WarCrack. :p
  9. rofl This actually gives me an excuse to step up the nagging on pulling up the carpet and refinishing the hardwood floors! (wife)
  10. I know I had to smoke a cigarette after watching the innkeeper have his way with you. rofl
  11. Jay was calling Miles and I nerds as I was dancing with his character and he was dancing with the innkeeper... and I was laughing my butt off as a result! Course, I'm proud to be a nerd! (rock2)
  12. Hey! You're volunteering me for stuff again without asking! (threaten)
  13. I don't remember agreeing to hosting any meetings! (threaten)
  14. YIKES!!! Course, that could be for the bad customers that made me mad on a prior visit! (laugh)
  15. Believe me, I wouldn't be going just for the corals. The food is incredible (like I need to eat anymore) and there are so many other things to see. I'd just have to try not to get heat stroke in the process!
  16. When I have a tank I can actually get my hands into, I like to show people how you can get "Cleaner Shrimp Manicures." I could have one in every mall and be RICH! I'll always have one in a tank.
  17. That poor thing! Five homes! He's beautiful and I'm glad he found a permanent home with you. I know he'll be happy!
  18. Jay and I were talking about having a meeting in Eugene on Saturday for the southern members then having the regular Portland area meeting. Of course, we'd go to both. This is something we just thought of and haven't discussed with the board. It might be worthwhile to see who all would be willing to open their homes to a meeting and go back to the roots of the club. Again, something that the board would need to discuss. Joel, as always you bring up valid points. I know that the club does ask a lot of all of the stores and I do feel bad knowing that you guys are getting the short end of the stick more often than not. I appreciate all of you and everything you do for us, but that doesn't exactly put food on the table now does it? Jay and I were thinking that perhaps instead of asking you guys to plug the club, maybe we would see if we could put business cards on your counters. That would most likely be more effective than the flyers. And of course this would be per the owner's approval and the blessing of the board. It seems like we have a lot to discuss!
  19. I was so afraid someone would misinterpret what I was saying. I'm not pointing fingers or anything. Of course there are people that wanted to attend that couldn't. And others would prefer to come to a lecture by say Shimek rather than Borneman. Steve, you are completely right. I don't know what we're missing, because the numbers simply are not what they used to be. Heck, maybe it's Jay's fault and he blows as the president! (laugh) I do agree that I miss going to people's houses and seeing their tanks. Keep them coming everyone! LFS owners, too! You guys are the backbone of this club as far as I'm concerned.
  20. I really dig the sexy shrimp, but they tend to get lost in a larger tank. It's very entertaining to watch they gyrate their tails. It's also entertaining to tell people, "And those are my Sexy Shrimp." (laugh) You're like me. I love inverts. I'm always on the lookout for something neat for my tank (when I get one again). One of these days I really do want to get a mantis shrimp.
  21. I know, it's opening a huge can of worms. I would like to know exactly what everyone wants out of this club. Be reasonable, yet be honest. Personally, I was a bit surprised at the lack of bodies at the Borneman lecture so I'm not entirely sure what everyone wants. Honestly, it's not cost effective to bring in big name speakers if the attendance is going to be small. I'm telling you, it was awesome though! Eric is a great guy! Now for me, education is a big reason why I'm here. I want to do workshops and learn how to do stuff. Making rocks, fragging... whatever. I also want to educate others about the hobby, which includes getting the information and tanks into schools. And for me, I do want to have speakers come and talk to us. I think having Eric here was just incredible. So what do you guys want? Do you not care about speakers? Are monthly meetings and the website all you need? Are events such as the tank tours, rock building workshops and OCA overkill? What is your vision for the club, because after all this is everyone's club. Also, keep in mind... we can't do everything that is requested. This is just a Q&A session, though I really do want to know what everyone wants for the club. No arguing, guys. I know we're a passionate bunch. Be constructive, not negative and accusatory.

    Wii Stuff

Now that would be just awesome! Would it be considered a party foul if you launched the remote through the TV screen though?

    X360 Stuff

Oblivion is pretty awesome, though I have to admit, I'm enjoying the online play of WoW so I wish Mass Effect was MMO as well!

Mass Effect is the title that I'm currently pining for. I can't wait until that comes out! It's sad, but I'm all about the RPGs. Course, I do love the Call of Duty titles for some reason! Oh, and Viva Pinata. I got sucked right into that baby game for a while. (laugh)
