That's probably a good reason not to buy it for me, then. I think I'm going to end up investing in WoW anyhow. It's surprisingly fun! It's more fun as I figure stuff out since I'm a noob. Funny how casting a few spells can keep you from getting dead so quick! What I can't figure out is why some people's names are green and others (like mine) are blue. You're right, Piero. I just read that on DVDTalk in the "Other" forum. That was certainly a surprise! I've never been a fan, but it's never a happy thing to see someone die before their time. Especially when they're only three years older than myself! :eek:

I will get Jay on that, Ron. It would be nice to not have to get an ethernet card to see if that's the problem or not. I think he just went to Asus, but I could be wrong. I thought about trying Guild Wars, but I think Miles is the one who said it's tough to play solo. I haven't joined any groups, just playing on my own. Though if someone looks like they need a shot of health, I give them some help. It's amusing, all of the spells being cast on you by other players. It's like Christmas every time I play. We're a little late to the party, aren't we, Roy? But hey, better late than never, right?

I'm using "Shandris" and the character's name is "Kalindaa." It's the name I used to use for my paladin back in the 80s when I played D&D. Why do I suddenly feel like an uber-nerd? (whistle) Now, if I can just get my onboard ethernet to stop fizzling out, that would be great. I told Jay that there was no way he would be able to build a new computer without something going amiss. I keep having to reinstall the ethernet drivers to get it to work again. Weird!

I should have listened! Now that we have a computer that can run it, I grabbed the trial disk of WoW... and wow! Is it fun! Course, I keep getting dead and having to take that long walk back to my carcass. I may very well have to buy the full version now. Course, maybe in nine days I'll get ticked off and say forget it! My paladin is a bit of a wussy at this point (level 9). (sad) I think I get the prize for bumping the oldest thread! (clap)

Just wanted to say that our rabbit fish was mislabeled. It's really a two-barred chromis! He's been schooling with the chromii that we got after the meeting. It's pretty funny, especially because he's the same size as them. I'd take a pic, but the front of the tank is encrusted with coralline... as usual. (laugh)

Well, if you guys had a good secretary that did their job and posted minutes like they were supposed to. (threaten) (laugh) I'll try to get around to writing up the minutes of what has happened at all the meetings I've neglected posting. Next year you guys need to vote in a better secretary than me! rofl

Then I will give WoW a go when we get the new computer built. So many people love it, I guess I'd better check it out. And probably become obsessed with it like so many others! (laugh) "Need 4 Speed" sounds pretty fun! Anytime you have to thwart the fuzz (I have several in the family, I can say that!) in a game is a good time. Just don't forget when you're driving around Eugene. I'd hate to see a report about you on the evening news because you rammed 18 police cars then eluded capture for 20 minutes!

I think that's great! A funeral should be a celebration of one's life in my opinion. I've always said that I don't want a funeral, I want a kegger!
