  12. Really!?!?! My first thought was an encrusting coral of some type......... never would have guess a 'shroom. Thanks Cy

  14. Yes you can wipe down the ballast. If you are going to reseal the tank that is a BIG undertaking! A real pain if you have never done it before. If you think there might be a leak on the bottom. Then I would clean it up really well and silicone the bottom or underside and along the out side of the trim.
  15. Probably bad picture taking abilities...... I can not take a picture that is not overly blue due to my Radiums and my bad techniques. (sp.)
  16. Being a single ended bulb there is no need for there to be a cover, unless you want one. For getting the salt off the bulb; set it in a bucket of water so just the glass part is submerged and let the water soak in and loosen the salt crust. For the stand/canopy and such you might just want to sand it down and re-stain/paint it while you can so it will look good. But look for damage also.
  17. Some people have said an extra strong, extra long dip has atleast paralized them and caused them to drop off or be shaken off. I do not have a link to any of those thou.
  18. Well 3 people have seemed to have success with it. But I wonder about long term side effects.... I'm somewhat a weary about things like this. But it sure makes me want to give it a go!! But I have neither at this time.
